Happy Anniversary/Happy Mother's Day

Today was Mike's and my 12th wedding anniversary :-) We went to my brother's house in Bradford, MA for dinner - we celebrated Mother's Day there as well with my mom and my sister-in-law's mom. It was very fun - we watched the Red Sox together :-)
Image hosted by Photobucket.comWhen we got home, I started to work on Miracle Butterfly, as it is PR SAL day :-) I had three or four hours with her and continued to make good progress.... Am getting ready to dive into the whites and grays of her dress now, so I am planning to also do her colorful wings "here and there" as a breather once in a while.... I know that dress could get boring fast if I leave it all for last!

There is very sad news out of Red Sox Nation today, following the tragic death of one of their clubhouse attendants last night - somehow, following the Celtics loss to the Pacers last night, this young man managed to fall from the sixth level of a Boston parking garage. There are no further details available. Very sad - he was only 29 and worked in the Red Sox kitchen.... The Red Sox played a doubleheader today. Game One at 12 PM was Red Sox 6, Mariners 3. Game Two at 5 PM was Mariners 6, Red Sox 4.... due to poor minor league relief pitcher coming into the game - his nerves got the best of him, it appears, and the Mariners hit a grand slam off of him... Well, you have to get your start somewhere... :-)

Mike and I thoroughly enjoyed watching National Treasure tonight - what a fun movie!

Stitched on today: Miracle Butterfly

Happy anniversary carol! That's an impressive number: 12 years of marriage.
You did a great job on the miracle butterfly. She's coming along great! I not understand a SAL completely: do you have to finish at the same time or is the fun just knowing other people are stitching the same design?
