Happy Fourth of July!

Back to Petal Fairy tonight. I think she is going to be a happy dance soon, but first I have to work my way through all the yellow petals of her skirt. I took her off the scroll tonight, and now you can see her in her entirety.

It was a quiet holiday here. We slept in. We stayed up until 2 AM - 3 AM all weekend, so it will be hard to get back on schedule tonight! Erin said she enjoyed her quiet weekend up here playing The Sims and one of my Mike's PC shooter games too :-)

And the explosion of daylilies in our garden has begun!...
Daylily: BrandyDaylily: Lighthouse DivineDaylily: Jungle PrincessDaylily: Brocaded GownDaylily: Violet CharmDaylily: Siloam Jim Cooper

I totally forgot to mention yesterday that four Red Sox are going to the All-Star Game! Congratulations to Manny Ramirez, Johnny Damon, David Ortiz and Jason Varitek! I hope to see one or two of them in the Home Run Derby too! It amazes me how strong the American League is, and how weak the National League is, this year.... it will be interesting to see if that shows itself in the All-Star Game on July 12th.... hmmm.... (no offense to NL fans, that is not what I am trying to say... just reading SI articles and watching SportsCenter, plus what I saw during our interleague games...)
