I was really motivated again when I saw a model of Houses of Hawk Run Hollow stitched up while I was at my LNS yesterday. When it was time tonight to think of what to stitch, that decision was easy. For those who do not know, I am using the Victoria Clayton silk conversion for mine (or as I call it, "the watercolor version"). It struck me funny tonight as I was stitching and I realized that at the start of 2005, I really wanted to stitch this piece. I then got all distracted by all the projects you see me doing every day.... and I may be lucky if I just finish this one house square by the end of 2005 :-(

It was a busy day at work today, and I don't have a lot to say.... so I will just add my garden pics now... I was glad I thought to take my photos in the AM today, as a very severe thunderstorm came through this afternoon and now these pretty blooms look mushy!! I did get the picture of the pink tiger lily at my mailbox when I got home though... that bloom held up better than the daylilies did in the storm :-)
Daylily: Paper ButterflyDaylily: Kindly LightDaylily: Persian MarketDaylily: Siloam Gum DropDaylily: Chicago Sunrise (complete with a bee... for Becky!!)Pink Tiger Lily - sturdy enough to withstand the thunderstorm :-)

Stitched on today: Story Time - I finished the second bird, so now only one left to go :-) .... and Houses of Hawk Run Hollow

The houses you're stitching are really pretty but oh my, I just followed your link to Stitching Bits and bobs to see the full picture and the verse on that piece is really spooky!

Gorgeous flower piccies again. You've just given me that push to get out and work on my garden again this weekend :o)

Your garden pictures are always beautiful. I didn't know there were so many varieties of lillies.
