Want to join a Mirabilia SAL for 2006?

I have now set up a Yahoo Group for those who are interested in doing a SAL for any Mirabilia chart starting January 1st. This idea first originated when Katrina, Lisa and I decided to stitch Mermaids of the Deep Blue as a SAL starting on that date. There has been a lot of interest in other Mirabilias and doing an SAL... so.... the more the merrier! Please feel free to join us! This is also being coordinated over on the Friends Gather BB. You can click on the link above, or use the sign up box in the sidebar of my blog. There is a database in the group where you can let us know which Mirabilia you plan to stitch too :-) Won't it be fun to stitch together?
Now, on to today's stitching business... I tossed aside An Open Heart for today as I just was not in the mood to have the scroll bars in my lap. I decided to work on Houses of Hawk Run Hollow instead. I have a mini goal of finishing House 8 before the year's end, and now after tonight's bout of stitching, I think I am nearing that goal. I have the blue house done now, and my Angus is even stitched on there too :-) Now I need a fence for the kitty to stand on, a flag pole, a little bit of lawn and the outer border of the block... that should not take too long and can be done during the holiday break.

Mike is back to stitching his house again tonight. Today's lesson: it's important to keep all of your x's going in the same direction LOL!!

Only four more days of work until the holiday break! Yay!

But sadly, today marks the 10th anniversary of my father's sudden death... I kept distracted by watching lots and lots of football...

Stitched on today: Houses of Hawk Run Hollow

He he Carol thought you would like the Polar Bear Princess lol. She is geogeous isn't she. The chart is yours when I am done, if you want it. Just waiting for the material to turn up for her now and then I can add her to my rota in the new year too.

I have signed myself up as you know. Looking forward to doing this with you and others.

I need to sign up! I'll do that later :)

Not sure if I'll start 1st Jan ... but definitely not long after (I hope!).

Seeing as I'm already doing Winter Queen in my rotation (just started) I'll pop over and join officially :)

I would love to sign up but I'm afraid I can't qualify, as I'm right in the middle of Petal Fairy... I my limited stitching time won't allow me to do a rotation! :(

So you might have another Happy Dance before the new year? It looks good. Would love to take part in the stitch a long but I will have to wait and see. I don't want to make commitments I can't keep. I would love to stitch Sleeping Beauty so I might use it as an excuse.

I hope you got through the day ok.

Carol,
you know how much I love your Houses of CHS. If I decide to start this design I'll use your Vikki conversion, it's turning out lovely! I'll join the Mirabilia SAL group but I don't know when and what I'll start stitching. May I use our The Rose of Sharon SAL?

All signed up for the Mirabilia SAL! I'm had Mermaids kitted up for awhile and can't wait to get started. I definitely need encouragement to keep going, so hopefully an SAL group will help. Thanks for organizing this Carol!

I'm very happy to see the progress on the Mermaids, that is probably my favorite of the pieces you are working on - and Houses of Hawk.. are really coming along - what a HUGE piece that will be!

Thank you so much for thinking of me this christmas - your package arrived saturday, thank you so so much! That was very generous!

Glad to join Carol! My poor Snow Queen has been glaring at me from the pillow case she's being kept in for far too long. This might be just the motivation I need to get some work done on her. Cool I see AnneS is working on Winter Queen as well :)
