Tuesday...

And... this week's progress on the Garden Spot Sampler... yep, it is crooked... not just in the photo but in my Q-Snap too. That R&R fabric does like to move itself around and not stay put for me.... last time I use that fabric! (Ooops, oh right! I ordered the 30 ct Garden State Java for the new Quaker Garden by Blackbird Designs... only because that color is so unique... hope I don't hate it as much as I hate this linen...). Anyhow... I opted to go with a scan of the area I am currently stitching again, because I think the scanner captures all the colors so much better. I think this sampler is actually taking me longer to stitch than did The Marriage of Minds...

New DVD Release Tuesday once again - a fun one this week, Fun with Dick and Jane...

I really enjoyed coming home a bit early today and watching the Red Sox home opener - very fun! (Oh yes, we won...)

Stitched on today: Papillon Creations Mystery Sampler and Garden Spot Sampler

Lovely Carol!
Here's what I use with fabric like that-folded facial tissues under the snap. It really helps and they are easy to replace.

Excellent progress!

~* I have a Q-snap question for you... I see you have stitched areas tucked into the snaps on the side. Does that do any damage to the stitching? I am close to the edge on the MotDB and I have been debating whether to move it to a scroll frame or start tucking it into the snaps.

They say that if you put strips of quilt batting along the sides of the Q snap there is less shifting of your material. Everytime I look at this piece of yours, I want to start mine! Thank you for sharing your lovely work with us all

Carol it is looking better and better each time I look.

Oh Carol ... the colors are rich and wonderful. I enjoy all the progress pics : ) Those flower motifs are interesting to look at.

I'm not a fan of R&R linens ... (sorry to say) love the colors -- dislike the texture.
