Women of the Mayflower Update

I didn't want to work on MTM today. In fact, I lazed on the sofa watching a 19 inning (6+ hours) baseball game, and flicked back and forth to also watch NASCAR... too hard to stitch while doing that. So, I chose instead to put in a couple of hours on Women of the Mayflower before going to bed. The scan makes the fabric and the floss darker than they really are... but I am too tired to fidget with the picture :-) I think it has been a while since I picked this project up, so it was good to give it a little bit of time tonight.

WotM looks GREAT!! I ordered my floss for it during the SB&B sale and they will be at my Mom's by the time I arrive there.

Can a baseball game really last that long??

Sounds like we had the same kind of day. I got very little stitching done this weekend...

This is looking so pretty, I just love the colors in it. I was able to get a copy of the magazine so that I can stitch this too, one of these days! Every time I work on my ship in Bay Sampler, I think of this piece! And your flowers are gorgeous - what a lovely garden you must have! Can we see a pic of the whole thing?

That's so pretty, I really like it! Your MTM is looking fantastic too, you don't have long to go before it's finished.

Thanx for sharing your progress pic. The Mayflower sampler is lovely!

When the clock radio sounded off this a.m. -- the first thing I heard was "that was the longest game ever played at the cell". And, every news broadcast since has had a recap of that never-ending game. Ah, what a historic moment ... never mind I don't follow the game.

You're making great progress on your stitching!

You must have been watching the battle of the "Sox"...what a marathon! We had NASCAR and the Western Open in our neck of the woods this weekend also. I'm not a sports fan, but it sure was all over the place!!
