Angus Makes An Appearance

Sticking with my rotation, and finding it to be such a good way to get this project going, I worked on Houses of Hawk Run Hollow tonight. House 2 is nearing its completion now, and is by far my favorite house so far on the sampler. The odd colors all joined together very nicely to make a pretty block - never would have guessed that earlier on. One more block, and I will be half done!
And, an appearance from Angus tonight. He spent much of the evening near me, so I figured I would add him to my blog tonight. Mike has set up little beds for the cats all over the house - blankets and towels set up in nice comfy positions on furniture - - - everywhere. Here Angus is lying on a comfy towel. As you can see, his front legs still need a lot of fur to grow back in from where he had his IVs. He has been very lively lately. I couldn't get a decent photo despite many tries - this cat is so pretty, but does not photograph well - LOL! And, he kept closing his left eye everytime the flash lit up. I didn't pursue it for too long, as it may have been uncomfortable for him. Angus will turn six years old in about two weeks now :-)

Ha, that cat just cracks me up. I love how he's trying to get a bad picture just to drive you silly :D So cute. Lovely village of course, you are so great!

Black furbabies don't photograph well. We have a hard time taking a good picture of Rigby, too.

Your HOHRH block is indeed gorgeous! Those colors just work together so well!!

I dont think any cats photograph particularly well. I find it really hard to get a good one of Casey - she always looks either really stuck up or miserable lol

HRH is lovely. Yes I'm ready for our SAL in April too. Sundays are great for me. Just let me know when you're ready to kick off.

Angus looks very happy on his comfy towel. The house you are working on at the moment reminds me of a brick school house the more and more I look at it.

HOHRH looks fantastic - you are making great progress. It's that kind of progress that inspired me to start a rotation as well. I can't get good pics of Hamlet either.

Angus looks very comfy, other than looking like he wants to be left alone to take a nap, LOL. Glad he is doing better.

Houses is looking good. You're right on all the colors coming together. Viewed seperately you'd never have thought those color combinations would work that well.

Keey up the great work on HOHRH. It's really coming along. Glad to see Angus. Molly's fur on her paws has grown back although it could still use a little bit more to even things off. She's gotten lively as well. She turned 3 on Monday. Our babies are getting older...lol. I can't wait for Celebrations.
