Barnabee Part 1 is finished

Tonight was week three of the Barnabee's Quest SAL. I finished up Part 1 and made a start on Part 2. I love the colors in this sampler, and Nan went as far as to do a fun description of what Barnabee is doing in each band, so she keeps us entertained a bit. I felt like I could have stitched for a little bit longer tonight, but now I am up to over one stitching and backstitching with fractional stitches... so, put the pencils down and close the test booklets... done for the night! Will get to those next week, am too tired tonight for over one stitching.

Let the weekend begin! Let's try to melt some snow now!

Stitched on today: Finished a gift, Barnabee's Quest

BQ is such a sweet design, ideal for getting one's mind off all the snow outside. :D

I don't envy you the snow though :/

Great progess! I also love your Dawn, and don't think she looks spooky at all! - look forward to seeing her progess.

Oh boy, I know I'm crazy, but that snow sounds awesome!!! Now a nice middle ground between your snow and our 38C today would be just Perfect with a capital "P" :D Barnabee's Quest looks amazing :D

You had smokin needles last night. We are all going to have a hard time keeping up with you:). Seeing your progress really makes me want to get to the birdhouse and all that pretty fuschia.

Good luck with all that snow. Snow removal is on our agenda here too!

Oh, seeing this stitched up makes me kick myself that I sold it a few years back. It's too adorable!! Normally, I don't like Just Nan's colorways but there's something about this piece...Carol, your stitching is lovely and I am looking forward to seeing more of Barnabee's Adventure!

Barnabee is looking good, the colors are very pretty. I love your idea of melting some snow. However, I don't think that will be happening in my area for a while. At least we are not getting any more snow or ice, and the sun did peek out for a while today, that was really nice.
