Finished Part 4... and Biscornu Exchange Received :-)

I finished Part 4 of Bordeaux Sampler tonight.... all those over one grapes.... and now am on to Part 5, which is so much more enjoyable! What a treat it was tonight to stitch one over two again!

I received the FGBB Biscornu Exchange today from Dot :-) I don't know Dot's blog address, am still working on that! This is a cutie. It is the first one that Dot has ever stitched, and I am thoroughly impressed! She also sent me a pretty Wood Violet cashel by Dyeing4U (I already have some great ideas for it) and some yummy hand- dyed threads. Thank you Dot! What a nice exchange!!
And, I heard from Gill this morning that she just received the PIF gift that I made for her. I did not know that Gill is quite fond of the color purple, so this ended up working out quite well! I just love Indigo Rose designs, and have wanted to stitch one of the freebies into a biscornu.... so here was my chance. This is one of the freebies I stitched this month for the Freebie Challenge on the FGBB:

Twilight Biscornu
Indigo Rose
Taupe Cashel and DMC floss
Stitched 4/2/07 - 4/4/07

Thank you, everyone, for the wonderful feedback lately - on my little finishes, my WIPS and everything else - you are wonderful! Someone did write asking to join the Neighborhood RR I set up... I could not find an email address for you, Rob.... but sadly, the RR did fill up... if I hear of one starting up, I will be happy to let you know!

Stitched on today: Stitched on a gift, and Bordeaux Sampler

Beautiful biscornus! Both are gorgeous. I love that Indigo Rose Design, it is very well suited to that sort of finishing. Your stitching is lovely as always.

Sigh... Another beautiful finish, Carol! The biscornu you received is lovely. And the Bordeaux Sampler is a true work of art. I would love to have that hanging in my house. Of course, that would mean stitching it, and with that much over one going on, that's never going to happen. So I'll keep on drooling over yours, if I may.

Wow, two gorgeous biscornus - just awesome! It almost tempts me to get back into exchanges again ;) Bordeaux looks wonderful ... so much better once those over-one single grapes are out of the way (unfortunately I'm not there yet, I couldn't face them last night haha).

I absolutely love the WIP that you posted yesterday (the Long Dog one) and was wondering if that may be something that you will sell (the pattern I mean LOL) when you are done. I think that that would be a really great piece to stitch for our apartment.

Both of the biscornus, given and received, are beautiful. I really like the fabric as well, that will be lovely to work on. Glad you're out of the over one section of Bordeaux, I know you were getting a bit tired of all the over one grapes.

Your stitching and finishings are awesome. I really love the IR Twilight Biscornus freebie. Does it comes as a kit? because I never heard of it before. Must be a new one. May I know hoe to get hold of it, please? TIA

Beautiful Biscornus, Carol! I love the Indigo Rose... haven't seen that one before and the colours are gorgeous! And Dot did a wonderful job on her first biscornu! :-)

Bordeaux Sampler is coming along beautifully! All that over one would have driven me bonkers! :-)

Oh, and speaking of NRR's... if you hear of another one starting up, would you please let me know? I have been longing to participate in one for ages now... I have seen several since I started blogging a few months ago... alas, they are always filled up.
