Thank You Tannia!!

I was surprised and a bit overwhelmed this afternoon when I came home from work - the postman had delivered this lovely surprise (RAK) package from Tannia - what a lovely biscornu and such fantastic treats too! Tannia enclosed a note stating that she felt that I give gifts to so many, and she felt it would be good for me to get one... aw, how sweet!!! Thank you Tannia! As I said... I am just utterly overwhelmed!
This is for Barbara - a sneak peek at your Neighborhood Round Robin! Yep, I started it this afternoon! Can you tell what chart I am using?? I'll leave it as a surprise for right now. (But, I think I told An what I am stitching, so you could always cheat and see if she will tell you...). I must say Barbara, I just love your linen! The color is a lovely deep taupe (darker than the photo shows) and the quality of the linen is wonderful! I am enjoying this very much already! There will be another peek soon :-) (Sorry the ewe looks a little funny - I did not stitch her nose yet, have to dig out some DMC 838 first).

And... it is Monday.... another update of HOHRH - House 1 is starting to look more like a house. At least it has its windows now!

Oh... I keep forgetting to say this! I recently realized that at times when I leave a comment in a WordPress blog, my ID is coming up carolann03038. This is because I did set up the skeletons of a blog on WordPress a couple of months ago, but never went with it. So, when I go into Google Reader and start reading blogs, if the first blog I comment in is a WordPress blog, then my ID will come up as carolann03038. However, if the first one is a Blogger blog, then I am diverted to sign into Blogger first (as we all know...LOL), and then all my comments come up as Carol at that point.... So, if you feel I have not been visiting your blog, please doublecheck for "carolann03038" comments - I bet you will find I was there :-) But, tonight I am way behind! I just saw I have 100+ posts still to read! Tomorrow will be busy for me!!

Ooooo, Carol. I like the looks of the Neighborhood RR piece!! And your biscornu giftie is so pretty. Did you use Sampler Threads on your Hawks Houses? They look so muted and sweet. Just great stitching, Carol.
Hugs,
Deb

Gosh, Carol, I have to admit that my sleepy brain isn't able to ID the design you've started on my NRR - but I REALLY love it!!! (And I am so relieved to hear the linen isn't driving you to distraction!)

That's a beautiful RAK you recieved - and it is really great to see you receive something lovely after all the beautiful goodies you've shared so generously with everyone! (Sorry to admit there isn't yet a RAK heading your way from me - I need to clone myself or something....)

Ooh, I love those colours Tannia used!

Now, question from the person who designed this particular biscornu: I have just set up a gallery (http://periphaeria.com/gallery/) with Stitchers' Showcase album and was thinking would you be so kind and let me grab this there (or, if you wish, you can register in there and upload it yourself)? :)

(If you wish to contact me my email is periphaeria (at) gmail dot com :))
