Quaker Alphabet Exchange for Chizue

I am blogging early tonight as I would like to dedicate my evening to finishing a very important birthday gift, which is already late. Since I learned today that Chizue has already received the SBEBB Quaker Alphabet Exchange that I only posted off to Japan on Friday, 8/31 (yet Annemarie's RR has half the distance to travel and is not there, despite being posted on 8/17??)... so I will share what I sent her.

Quaker Heart Pillow

Janice Wood

Zweigart Vintage Country Cream Belfast, DMC 115

Thank you all for the wonderful comments about Maria's gift for me! I hope she takes a moment to read all of the wonderful things you wrote about her!!

Susan, the chart I am using (chowder house) on Cathy's RR is in a 1990 leaflet by The Cricket Collection called "Kiss the Cook." (It is still available - I just checked and Stitching Bits & Bobs has it).

Stitched on today: Finished a gift

I'm just about to shut down the computer for the night and begin stitching scissor pocket #5 and saw your early post, Carol. Yes, I've been reading what people have said about the pocket. How nice of them all! My head has been swelling all day and that has been hard to do because it has been so very very HOT here. Once more it was a pleasure to stitch and I'm pleased you like it so much.

Absolutely gorgeous exchange, but then those reds are my favorite color. Chizue is a very lucky woman.

Hi Carol

Oh I am so behind on my blogging and haven't gotten as much stitching done until the last couple of days. We too have been a little under the weather but I think it is from some pizza we had that apparently is loaded with MSG. Anyhow, I hope you and Mike are feeling much better!! I didn't realize you were sick. Your little pillow is just beautiful!! You do such beautiful work and your finish work is outstanding too! Hugs Debby :)

It is great! Off course this pattern has a special place in my heart since I stitched the for the Freebie exchange for Dawn :) I had lots of fun stitching it.

Thank you to my blog.
I am sorry that your comment is late.
I had set up so that English do not be displayed.
Thank you so much your stitching.
I am very HAPPY~~~

Thanks, Carol for the info on the Cricket Collection chart - I love Cricket Collection, and I've been looking for charts that have a "coastal cottage" kind of theme!
