Secret Stitching... again!

I have decided to devote my evening to some much needed secret stitching instead of HOHRH... but, I do have a little something to share!

Today is Dianne's birthday, and the postal service pulled off a minor miracle and delivered my wee gift for her on time! This was a minor miracle as I only was able to finish it and post it off on Friday! I know Dianne loves Prairie Schooler and is trying to collect their series of charts... so choosing this little guy was a no-brainer! I am so glad you like it, Di! Happy Birthday! {{{HUGS}}}

OK.... now I am off to try to finish my CE return exchange gift!! (Edited at 12:15 AM - this did not go as planned. I ended up at the emergency vet again tonight, for about three hours, this time for Beau. We discovered he was severely constipated, actually obstipated. Mike removed the fecal ball here - like a doctor in a labor room, what a champ he is! I took Beau in and waited on bloodwork and xrays for the longest time. I sat in the exam room alone for a good hour with nothing to even look at, wondering if they would soon come in to tell me he has liver disease, which was suspected by the vet. But, no, his values were good, his xrays were good. He does have a heart murmur, slightly elevated thyroid values and significant periodontal disease. He is back home and we need to watch him and keep him hydrated. I will have his regular vet follow up with him very soon. Beau, by the way, is my 10 year old cat... he is showing signs of aging)

Stitched on today: Started Crazy Exchange return gift for Katrien **Mailed off Christmas Ornament Exchange (Simone's Group) and a PIF gift today

Your hedgehog is very cute.

I'm glad Beau could be healped out and that he doesn't have a bad liver, just bad teeth - let's hope something can be done for him to keep him fit and healthy.

What an adorable little pin pillow! Which pamphlet did that chart come from?

Poor little Beau! He is lucky to have you taking care of him! As for the aging, the best thing you can do is just love him.

I love the pincushion, and the beaded edging is awesome!

You definitely have some health challenges with your kitties. I hope poor Beau is much better today...and Mike recovered from his experience too!

What a cute, nay darling pin pillow!!!! I really like the beads along the sides!!!

I am glad that Beau is getting along fine. I know what that is with the bad teeth and aging animals, lord knows the dragon breath that the Peach has could knock over a brick wall!!

Hope it all works out, and that you and yours have a super Thanksgiving!!!!

Glad Beau is feeling better! My cat Bailey had all of the things that Beau does and he made it to 17! Hopefully the same will be said of Beau. :-)

Aw, poor Beau! I hope that he is feeling back to his normal self now. Phoebe has a heart murmur, too, and she's Beau's age. Makes me worry about her, that's for sure.

Cutest pincushion ever! :D

Feeling very sad for poor Beau and hope he's feeling better today. Our kitty is ten years old too, but so far he hasn't had any problems. I hate the thought of losing him.

I am so sorry to hear about Beau, but glad he is doing better. My sister's cat is going through the same thing right now. My oldest two are 12, so I know what you mean about them showing signs of aging.

I love the PS finish - what a cute piece! I love how much thought you put into choosing what to stitch for people - you always choose something very appropriate!

I'm so glad that things turned out well for Beau. You sure have had your share of problems with your kitties! We had a similar scare with our Finnigan this past summer.

The little hedgehog cushion is so cute!
