Just a bit more...

My friends, you are not at all surprised that I kept going on Be Kind and True tonight. I took a photo with the flash this time, as it shows the color of the linen a bit better. I am still loving it. Thank you for the wonderful feedback on this sampler. It is so delicate and pretty in real life.

Here is what Mike saw earlier today when he was working on his computer. He heard a noise and looked behind his moniter, and there were Lily and Anouk, snuggled up on his cable box - they like the warmth that it emits. My little girls are litter mates and are so tiny. It is hard to believe they will be six years old in June.

I've really not a lot to say again today. I am feeling a bit in a funk. The Red Sox are arriving in Spring Training in Florida now, though. Maybe that will bring me back to normal - but really, what I need is warmer weather like almost all of you have. Instead, we are getting more snow tomorrow night, followed by ice... oh yay. We did have some sun today, so that is one thing positive. It's not like me to be negative, is it? OK, I will stop!

Stitched on today: Started a gift, and Be Kind and True **Mailed out a gift today

I think the funk is that crappy winter we've been having! I so want to go somewhere south and warm! I'm also at a loss for March break I want to go somewhere/do something and I don't have the big bucks for an extravagant trip!

Weather does tend to put us all in a funk. This too will pass and the sun will come out tomorrow.

Lily and Anouk look so comfy there :) Our PC is on a corner workstation and there is a small gap at the back, just big enough for Maisie to squeeze down into. She loves to lie down there on all the cables!

Be Kind and True is so pretty - you're making wonderful progress!

The cats are so cute peeping out! Nice progress on your stitching-I am with Dani-the funk is due to wild winter weather. Even here in Florida-it's hot one day and freezing the next. Every morning-I have to stick an arm out the door-lol

Like Florida, Ga is hot one day and cold the next which has me in a bit a funk. I love your stitching!

It always amazes me how cats can look so dignified while in the silliest places! The cold weather may get you down, but just look at the pictures of your cats and you will smile for sure!

Thank you Carol for being such a "good" poster - I can usually depend on you to have put up a new note. Of course, I have said it before, your stitching is just marvelous and anyone receiving your work is sure to be most pleased.

I can see my daff's sticking up, through the soil, so I know that spring WILL come.
Good wishes,
Marne

Five more weeks of winter, eh? I am sorry for you, Carol. But February is halfway and after that comes March. Before you know it, you'll be basking in sunshine!
And if that isn't enough, just have a look at that gorgeous sampler you're stitching. That will surely make you feel all warm and nice :o)

Very pretty! I will say, I thought that house was a bit hard to stitch. I did it for Annemarie's round robin :-).

Be Kind and True is beautiful. I love the colors. Hope the weather doesn't get you down too much. We have colder weather and bad rain coming our way, so I'll be wishing for sunshine too!

Wonderful stitching!! I've been putting in a few x's on Moon Garden.

IMO - The weather is making all of us bleak. Too much Winter.

Love the pic of your two cats. They are fluffy, sweet, & adorable!

Now, out for errands before the next snow flurries arrive. Enjoy your week-end
