House Samplings

As I mentioned last night, I was in the mood to start a new small/medium project for myself. I dug around in my stash for a little while this morning, and rediscovered that I had House Samplings by Hillside Samplings fully kitted up - it looked just perfect to start today. It is packed with specialty stitches and uses only one strand of floss on 32 ct linen... very delicate, and I am just loving it already. I am stitching it on the called for R&R Reproductions 32 ct Creek Bed Brown linen with DMC floss.

Mother Nature just is not happy at all - this is what I woke to this morning... and to think, in just over a week the Red Sox return to Fenway Park - they can't play in the snow, so I hope Mother Nature gets over her crankiness soon!

Stitched on today: Started SBEBB Here's to Ewe Exchange, started a PIF gift, and started House Samplings **Mailed out HoE Pinkeep Exchange today

Lovely new start Carol!

Wow, that snow looks amazing. I suppose you would be sick of it all by now (Just as we are over the hot days down here - the days are starting to cool down here so I expect the sun is on his way up to your end of the world soon).

Looks more like Winter than Spring - when is the warmer weather coming?

I think you must be a frustrated architect, Carol - you're working on HOHRH, you're involved in several neighborhood round robins ... and for your free-time project for yourself you choose more houses! LOL!!

Sorry about that snow. I hope spring is just around the corner.

Fantastic new start. I really like Hillside Samplers.

I can't believe you all had snow yesterday. It was 68 and sunny here. We are definitely breaking through to spring.

I love your new project! Sorry about the snow. It's been raining a lot here lately and I am dying to get out of the house for a nice long walk!

Nice new start. Snow, more snow. I don't think Mother Nature has a sense of humor these days. She is just really annoying.

Lovely new start Carol.

I just wish we could one big snowfall like that and I'd be happy. I bet you must be pretty fed-up of it now.

What a great start Carol! I have to laugh since I lived in Boston the last two years ... I must have been there for the mild winters. There were only a few big storms that I remember (though I do remember it snowing St. Paddy's Day weekend last year). Hoping the Red Sox won't be "snowed" out next week! Have a great weekend.

House Samplings is lovely. It is a great design -- you are doing a wonderful job stitching it up : )

Can you believe the snow storms? I'm beyond sick of them.

Started the Other Boleyn Sister, it really is interesting. Esp because we all know the history of Henry + his wives.
