Happy Memorial Day

Not a lot of energy for stitching today, but I did finish my ornament for the SAL :-) I will take a better photo tomorrow morning in the daylight and share that later - I used R&R Reproductions 35 ct Sheeps Straw linen, and none of my photos show it well yet...

This photo is for Veronica - Veronica sent me a packet of sunflower seeds in the HoE Pinkeep Exchange, and here they are - they really took off! I hope they don't turn into deer food when we finally put them in the garden. The germination rate was wonderful. I started them under grow lights.

Stitched on today: Finished a gift, finished Homespun Christmas Ornament, and stitched on Crazy Exchange return exchange for Simone

What a nice crop of sunflower starts you have there...They were obviously happy seeds and they just love being with you :-)

This reminds me, I've got a few seeds of my own to plant...I guess I'd better get it done...

I'm so glad you're enjoying them. Take pics when they blossom.

I'm so far behind on my blogging. I love the sunflowers. I don't have much luck because of all the birds and wild life. I hope yours fare well! So far so good.

Boy, your sunflower brings me back to old days, when i was 9, i used to garden alot and had grown quite a few sunflowers. I just remembered how my friends & i enjoyed eating the sunflower seeds when they were ready. =)

You must have such a green thumb to have such a beautiful garden. :)

I'm still catching up on blog reading...and you have been busy while I was away!! Sorry to hear about the worries and woes at your work. It must be a little like being a 9-1-1 dispatcher, always hearing the emergencies or crises but often feeling unable to help in a tangible way. I'm sure that you are a blessing to your clients!

I love the Christmas ornament. Simple but lovely.

Cute ornament! Ooh, I hope you get sunflowers. When I was little, we had big huge sunflowers in the garden. They still make me happy.
