A little Serenity

I need a little Serenity tonight. I wanted to work on this sampler tonight. It has been about a month, and I was missing it. I did finish the outer part of the next motif, but I cannot focus and had to put it down. I was working on my SBEBB Summer House Exchange earlier, and I realized that one sizeable motif is off by a thread and needs to be ripped out. I just need to go and do that now and get it off my mind...

Stitched on today: Stitched the first part of my Spring Exchange for Cathy, stitched on SBEBB Summer House Exchange and Serenity **Mailed my Halloween RR off to Edgar today

I know what you mean Carol, I had to take a few minutes today and sit down to rip out several bits I placed wrong in this new piece. At least now I know I am ready to stitch again when I pick it up, hopefully tomorrow. Your sampler looks wonderful hope you can get back to it soon. CJ

This is so pretty, I enjoyed seeing an update of it. Sorry that your Summer House piece has to have a section frogged out, that is always so frustrating. Hopefully once it is ripped and ready to be stitched on again, between that and working on this you're a little more serene again.

The Serenity Sampler is looking just beautiful!
Have you ever seen the Australian film, The Castle? There's a line in it that has become a family saying - "how's the serenity?" My sister and her hubby named their holiday place "Serenity Now" because of it. Sending you peaceful moments.

It's nice to see Serenity again Carol! Sorry you had to rip, that would have bugged me until I fixed it too.

What a beautiful piece. I don't know where I've been but I'm not familiar with the design.
Your stitching is always so inspiring.

I get all out of sorts if I know there's a mistake that needs correcting, and I don't tend to it straightaway.

This is a gorgeous sampler, and it's always such a delight to see your progress on it.

Ugh, I hate when that happens. I have to take care of it right away too.

Very nice Carol.

I need to get my backside into gear and get stitching more, so I can come up with wonderful pieces like you.

At least you were able to find the mistake so you can fix it. I hate when I know something is wrong and I'm not able to find the mistake no matter how much counting and ripping I do. Hope it's a quick fix.

Carol; You seem to get so much stitching accomplished. I am always impressed! This is a beautiful piece. I've not done anything like it...but after seeing your work, I am definitely thinking about it! Hope you have a peaceful weekend.

One thread. That's so annoying isn't it. I would have to unpick it right away too or I know I'd never pick it up again.

Serenity is beautiful.

(((just because hugs))))

You're so good! I tend to put a piece down when I realize I've made a mistake, then I don't want to pick it back up again!
