Happy Birthday Jill

Today is Jill's birthday! Happy Birthday Jill! Jill let me know that she received a little gift that I put together for her. I had issues, issues, issues with the assembly of this box! But... well, I have been told that I have to be less critical of myself, so I will just bite my tongue and not talk about it (although I told it all to Jill anyhow). So, if you see my boo boo, well, I can see it too ;-) Anyhow... glad you like it Jill :-)

Thank you all so much for the wonderful feeback and comments on my finish of A Quaker Christmas! I was (am) overwhelmed by how many of you left comments - truly a first in my blog. I appreciate all you have to say. I do not know if I will be able to get this framed for the holiday. Framing is so expensive and we are saving in this poor economy, so I might get it framed as a Christmas gift, but not before...

Carol - I think your box looks perfect and I'm sure that Jill is thrilled!

I know you mean about being self critical though. I just finished a project that was intended as a gift and even though it looks pretty decent, I'm not 100% happy with it and cannot decide what i should do about it

Carol,
This is a lovely box, very pretty design and finishing.

Carol - the box is wonderful. Isn't it strange how so many of us are really critical of what we make and yet adore anything others do! I think the box is perfect and wish my name was Jill :-)

Boo boos? What boo boos? Looks beautiful to me.

I am not surprised you have so many hits on QC - your blog is as popular as you - the kind and generous person you are.

I can't see anything wrong with it ;) It's lovely, great choice of design and finishing!

No, I certainly can't see your boo-boo, and even if I could, I think boo-boos are what makes any project special and unique, so there. It's a gorgeous, stunning box, though. Beautiful stitching, as always.

AQC is so beautiful, you need to get it framed. Joann almost always has discounts on custom framing. The flyer I got yesterday had a coupon for 50% off 1 frame through November 15. If you need a coupon, I can send it to you.
