A little better...

I feel a little better today - and want to thank those who left sweet words of concern. Wow, I was surprised how many have had problems with their gall bladders too! Found out today that my grandmother had a lot of issues with hers as well. I really was careful with what I ate today, and my only troubles came from having my morning coffee... very hard to give that up ;-)

Oh wow, Carol. I missed reading your blog yesterday so am just reading the news. :( Take care of yourself.

I just had my first (and fatal.. for my GB *g*) gall bladder attack last month to the point where I had to get myself to an emergency room. My gb was taken out 4 short hours later. The discomfort was something that was previously unimaginable, so I cannot imagine those like you that have to live with the periodic attacks. Oh, how miserable!

Take care of yourself and get some more rest!

My Granma just had her gallbladder removed in August...she's slowly getting back to normal from it, but she says she feels tremendously better. Apparently she'd been having gallbladder issues for the past 18-24 months but her doctors didn't know it...I guess things didn't show up on the various scans she'd had, but when they did surgery and took it, it was in pretty bad shape.

Who knew one little organ could cause so many problems... ;-)

Hope you get to feeling better soon!

Ouch, I know what you are going through. Had mine removed almost 40 years ago but still remember the pain. Take care.

Happy Thanksgiving Carol. I had gall bladder attacks in my 20's for almost 8 months, then suddenly after a bad one, they went away. Guess a stone must have passed through. They are scary - I remember one time having to lie in the back seat of my car in a parking gargage as I was in so much pain I could not even walk. Take care!
