No power ... No heat

Hi.... I've been getting some emails asking where I am. Thanks for the concern :-). We lost our power Thursday evening during an ice storm. Although everyone around us appears to have power, our little neighborhood still is in the dark. It is very cold and Mike and I have burned up almost all of our winter wood now. If the power stays off tomorrow, we will have no wood for heat. All of our food went bad, and we need showers. Thank you, Edgar, for the lovely gift box - it came today. Also, we drove to the MA border yesterday to get food, and found an open PO so I could mail Joan's Christmas ornament. Email and Internet are sporadic here on my iPhone due to the weather issues and no wifi with power out. Hope you all are well. Don't really know if anything big is going on in the world. Just hope the electric company chooses to fix our street soon!

I'm so sorry, I can't believe such a large area is still without power. I hope you get the power and all back on soon. {{hugs}}

My goodness that's a long time to be without power, I hope you get it back soon and that you can warm up and get a shower, things we take for granted!

Sending you 'warm' thoughts, and here's hoping you can pick up some more wood soon.

You poor thing! I feel awful for you. DBF and I were talking last night about the ice storm... The two of us would freeze to death... both being from FL and all. I can't imagine what that must be like! I hope your power is on by now!

Carol, I have been thinking about you since I e-mailed you the other day. Hopefully your electricity will come back on very soon. Stay warm as much as you can. Maybe I should have sent you one of those battery operated lights (with lots of extra batteries) instead of the electric one!
