More Ornaments :-)

I was such a lucky girl this week! I received two more ornaments from the Christmas Ornament Swap - and I love them, of course! I feel so detached and maybe even estranged from the stitching blogger community, but have decided to get more focused again. Unfortunately, focusing is exactly the issue. My right eye is way off and I realized while trying to read last night that it is why I am so exhausted and cannot accomplish my stitching! I covered my left eye, and not one letter was clear on the page with my right. OK, gonna make that eye appointment today! I am overdue for an exam anyhow!

So, about those pretty ornaments...

I received this sweetie from Cathy - it is a Val's Stuff design, and I think she said it was in one of the recent JCS ornament preview issues. So perfectly stitched and finished - and will look awesome on my tree! Also, Joan stitched up this Glory Bee ornament for me - one of my favorites! I have this same one from dear Veronica too, so now my tree can say Merry Christmas on two sides ;-) Joan finished it with an entirely beaded hanger, which is stunning! I think you can see just a touch of it in the photo, but I could not get it to stand up for the camera.

Thank you both soooo much! I will surely always cherish these!

Hoping everyone is well!

Stitched on this week: Stitching on a bday gift that will be quite late for someone... hope to work on it more today!

Both ornaments are cute. That beaded hanger is stunning. Eye problems are awful. Not the end of the world, but so annoying when they creep up on you and you finally realize how bad it has gotten. Good luck with your vision.

Good luck with your eye appointment. I have eyes that work independently of each other - one is for reading, and one is for distance! At 30, it's nice to know I'll never need bifocals, lol! So sometimes the fatigue sets in when I've been overusing my "close up" eye. Your body will always tell you what it needs, it just doesn't always tell you why right away. You've been an inspiration to the blogging community, and I think you deserve a rest to get your health straightened out.

How lucky you are to have such talented friends - they're both super cute, but I especially like the snowman one.

Thanks for stopping by at my blog nice to hear from you again :-)

Your ornaments are both lovely! And get that eyecheck soon, I bet you it will be a relief, and maybe it makes an end to you beintg tired. I have the same as drea_dear, eyes working independently, one for reading, one for distance. I wear glasses, but if it isn't quite balanced to my face, I get so tired I can sleep all day!

Dear Carol, I feel so awful about your eye trouble! I hope you get it "fixed" really soon. Of all the things for stitchers like us to be terrified to have...
Your ornaments are so sweet, you're so fortunate to have received them. I hope to hear your eye is being good in the next few blogs! Love and hugs, Deb

What lovely ornaments you've received. Hope you get in for your eye exam soon, being able to see clearly again should make your stitching (and so many other things) so much easier.

More lovely ornaments! Hope your eye is much better - that can be very disorienting. Mustn't have anything that prevents stitching!

Beautiful ornaments! Yes get your eyes checked. I had migraines for the longest time and it turned out all I needed was glasses! I hadn't realized how blurry everything actually was until I put on my new glasses.

Hello There Carol... How adorable is your stitching ??? Those Xmas Ornaments are Sweetazz... Bit fuzzy on how I arrived to visit with you but I believe I started out in Spain... Lol ! Your eyesight problem has me intrigued as I also deal daily with a Lamellar Graft which is causing exactly your problem for me... Will be back to visit to see how your Eye App. goes... I Wish You Well.
