Snow Day

We got about 8" of snow today, so I stayed home and pretty much stayed in... worked for a bit on Celtic Winter. Can you even see my progress? I worked on 3756 and B5200 in her skirt... it may not be showing up in my photo. Getting closer now :-)

There is a possible setback for me now with the Neighborhood Round Robin. Silkweaver emailed me today to alert me that the linen I ordered for it is on backorder. If it takes too long, I guess I will have to choose something else.... I was fearing they would send me that email, and voila - there it was today.

Stitched on today: Celtic Winter

I wish we had a snow day, I could do without going out, it's freezing here. CW is looking lovely, my crystal ball tells me there will be a major happy dance from Carol by the end of the month :)

Wow, we can definitely see your progress here Carol! CW is looking great!
Lucky you, getting an extra stitching day :D

It's freezing in Paris, too...

(Thank you for your sweet concern over my insomnia problem... The thing is, I've been on Stilnox for several years (on and off, but there were certain years, like last year, and 2002, when I took a Stilnox nearly every night!). I just don't want to take sleeping medication anymore... Even though it's real tough right now.)

Wow! Eight inches of snow and yesterday I was unhappy about all the rain! I am further south than you (Maryland) and today it is sunny and cold but no snow. I will be keeping my complaints to myself!
Celtic Winter is so beautiful. I love that feeling of almost being at the end of a major project. I am looking forward to seeing it completed.

Celtic Winter is coming along nicely. We haven't had a big amount of snowfall this year, I fear we are in for a big one yet. Haven't seen any snow for several days. Everything has been green for about a week now.

you get a snow day -- hooray!!! I'm jealous. Here I am, on the shores of a Great Lake, and there isn't a speck of snow on the ground. It is JANUARY...there is SUPPOSED to be snow. Not clear skies with highs in the 40s. Grrrr.

You're making wonderful progress with CW! Too bad about the backorder bit.

Looking at yesterday's post, had to show it to DH. Our big girl used to sleep on our cable/DVR box as well (it's since been put on a shelf she can't get to), though she wasn't allowed to.
