I spent the evening working on Dianne's Neighborhood Round Robin - I stayed up really late doing that, in fact. The house is totally done and I have been a landscaper most of the night. I am pleased now with how it is progressing and should easily be finished tomorrow! I will make the posting date - although the post office is closed Monday and snow/ice are heading in... so the RR will get posted to Annemarie sometime this coming week. I know she is not in a rush to get it. Tomorrow I will post the little postage stamp size area of my part (Dianne says a small picture like that is OK).
I watched Snakes on a Plane tonight... someone said it had a shocker ending, so I hung in for that... but there didn't seem to be one. Disappointing.
Happy Birthday to my sister Kathryn (Katie) today - I think she is 42 now, wow!
Stitched on today: Bordeaux Sampler and Dianne's Neighborhood Round Robin
Woohoo, way to go with Bordeaux ... knowing you and your speedy needles, you'll be catching me up and overtaking soon ;) It really is lovely, isn't it? :D
ReplyDeleteLovely work Carol.
ReplyDeleteSorry you were disappointed with Snakes On A Plane. Bren loves it. He loves "creature" films. I don't know what they meant by a shocker at the end though. Bren liked the scene with the guy in the toilet.LOL
Good grief! You did that fast. You must stitch with a needle in both hands!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to Katie too
Lovely progress, Carol. I would sure love to see a good-sized picture of your RR square - if you have the time and inclination, would you mind emailing it to me? What a curious girl I am, see! But I know what a great job you've been doing with that Neighbourhood RR, so I'm really eager to see that one :)
ReplyDeleteYour Bordeaux Sampler is looking wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI'm passing on watching that Snakes on a Plane movie :)
Wow WTG Carol it is stunning, looking forward to seeing PArt 3. Will start stalking post soon for the chart. Thanks hun
ReplyDeleteHugs & Stitches xxxxx
Your Bordeaux Sampler is looking beautiful! I watched "Snakes on a Plane" the other night and thought it was OK, nothing special though...
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing part 2. It is funny that the three of us seem to move down the sampler in a pack, one behind the other! I am hoping to get a ton done on monday.
ReplyDeleteThe sampler looks great! Every time I see the picture of it I ponder the grape worshiping bears in the top row. (I know that's not what they really are!)
ReplyDeleteYour Bordeaux Sampler is looking great, Carol :) I bet Dianne's RR is beautiful! :)
ReplyDeletehugs :)
Thanks so much for putting so much time into my NRR. The stitching you and the other ladies are doing for me is really appreciated. I can't wait to see it in about 9 months. It will be like having a baby. ; p
ReplyDeleteHi Carol--Thanks for stopping by my blog! I will add you to my blogroll and bloglines! Your Bordeaux Sampler is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteoops--I linked to my other blog...this is the stitching one! :)
ReplyDeleteBordeaux looks great - You're speeding along on it right now!
ReplyDeleteSnakes on a plane...........hmmmm, maybe not, lol.
ReplyDeleteLovely update on the Bordeux though :) I haven't seen that one before but it's looking fab!
Great work on the Bordeaux sampler. And no hurry with Dianne's RR. Please...
ReplyDeleteBordeaux is looking lovely, I really like the grapes around the edges.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Snakes, I don't really like snakes, and I hate planes as don't like the feeling of being closed in and can't get out, so don't think that would be a good movie for me at all. For a creature movie, give me a good Vampire/Werewolf/Creature from the Black Lagoon movie anytime. :)
Sorry you were disappointed with the ending, hope you enjoy the next movie you see more.
Sue
Lovely! Bordeaux Sampler looks great.
ReplyDeleteThe boys in our household watched the snake movie ... I didn't : )
Enjoy your week-end. We didn't get the ice/sleet stuff yesterday .. . not sure if we are going to get 'white stuff' on Sunday into Monday. We prepare for it anyhow.
Can't wait to see your house and garden on Dianne's RR! I absolutely love seeing all the creativity you ladies are putting into this project. :D
