Bordeaux Sampler is Finished

Bordeaux Sampler

Sampler Cove

Silkweaver 40 ct Atlantic Storm Newcastle Linen

Hand-Dyed Fibers Silk

Stitched 3/16/06 - 7/2/07

After I finally finished Bordeaux Sampler tonight, I worked back into my rotation with HOHRH. I want to thank Anne for jumping in on Bordeaux with me and making it an SAL. If she had not done that, this sampler would probably be a UFO! Thanks Anne, for keeping me motivated!!! And... above is a new update of Houses of Hawk Run Hollow too...

Has anyone ever purchased supplies from Violarium ? If you have not, I have to say my experience with Leena at Violarium last week was amazing! I ordered an issue of De Fil en Aiguille magazine from her last Monday, and I had it in hand on Saturday morning! What amazing turnaround time from Finland to New Hampshire! I am so impressed, and I had to share that! Thanks Leena!!

And, finally, some daylilies from this past weekend... the top one is Schickelfritz, and I cannot recall the names of the other two...oh, I think one of them is called Masque...

Now, it is time to fidget with my rotation and make some decisions... do I pick up a UFO, like perhaps Mermaid Heaven, now? Or do I start something new?? Tough decision!

Stitched on today: Finished a gift, finished Bordeaux Sampler, and Houses of Hawk Run Hollow

Your BS finished up beautifully. Will you frame it now? And it's great to see HoHRH. I just love that one.

As to a new one, I'd love to see Mermaid Heaven some more, that has such pretty colors, or the Long Dog Mystery Sampler, that one is lovely as well.

  33. Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry to make you worry Carole :( Thank you so much for caring, my friend. It means a lot.

Things haven't been great here but we're getting there, so I'm poking my head out again and trying to catch up.

As I suspected, you've been busy! I've missed the end of PL!!!! I'm so happy to see it finished. It's top, top, top of my 'to do' list because of seeing yours.

And all the other projects! OMG! It'll take me a week to look at them all, lol.
Beautiful as always though, from the quick peek I've taken.

  42. You must feel so good to have both of these HUGE pieces done this week, that is great! I love Bordeaux, it turned out lovely. What will you do with it?

If I were you, I’d start a new one just for fun! :D Since you have two rotations to fill, a new one, and your Mermaid Heaven would work… but that is because I love your mermaids, so precious.

    Great job <3
