Wendy's RR is Here!

Yay! I received Wendy's Neighborhood Round Robin today :-) I haven't had one for Group One since I mailed the last one along on Halloween. It is fair to say that I was feeling a bit out of the loop with the group. Now I need to hurry this one along as it is already running late. This is one GORGEOUS neighborhood. My design is of a little bit of a different format from the others - I am stitching Cherry Hill by Country Cottage Needleworks, but plan to omit the words on the hills and the cherry motif in the upper right corner. My design has a border on all four sides, as you can see. I put it at the top center figuring that it is less likely to throw the rest of the neighborhood off balance. Is this OK Wendy? I can pull out some border if you prefer - just let me know :-) (Part of me thinks I should just leave the bottom row - it looked better in the Q-Snap than it looks to me now... anyhow, it is up to you).

Stitched on today: Started Wendy's Neighborhood Round Robin **Mailed out a HoE Scissor Fob Exchange replacement exchange to Kate today

  11. I think you should pull the border out and just leave the bottom one in...that is what I would do if I was doing that one. That whole Neighborhood RR is going to be beautiful when it is completely done. I love LHN patterns.

  13. A very beautiful neighborhood RR...I love all the houses; I would only stitch the border on the bottom...to go along with the rest of the RR...open flow; like with the house on the right in the center row...it just has a green border along the bottom...beautiful stitching by everyone...
