Little Lambs for Vonna

I started my needleroll for the Needleroll Exchange today, and I got very involved with it - I just love it. It is very delicate and has some fun specialty stitches. I didn't want to put it down, so I didn't. Therefore, all of today's stitching is secret stitching. But, I do have some things to show!

Vonna received the Little Critters Exchange that I stitched for her on the SBEBB today. I was so happy to finally get Vonna's name! Vonna requested sheep, so I stitched her this:

Little Lambs Needleroll

Shepherd's Bush - freebie chart from 1991

Cream Belfast Linen and DMC Floss

And, dear Rowyn let me know that she received the little birthday gift that I stitched for her - just in time for her birthday. I am so glad Rowyn likes it!

Life's A Stitch Fob

Lizzie Kate

40 ct Lambswool Linen, Gentle Art Sampler Threads

And, before I go back to my secret stitching... some daylilies....

  12. That needleroll is lovely. I have never made one. What fiber do you fill it will and is it difficult to create that "roll" shape? xx

  24. I love needlerolls. I have a whole basket of them, but haven't done one in ages. I might have to dig one out. I think I have a thistle one (and I love anything thistle).
