I chose to continue to work away on A Quaker Christmas again tonight. Thanks for the votes of confidence on getting it done by the end of the year. I will, as long as I just don't let myself get too sidetracked.
Someone asked if there is a DMC conversion for this sampler. No, it is charted only for Crescent Colours floss. But as it is only three colors - green, gold and red - it should be easy to choose colors that would work ;-)
Stitched on today: Stitched on a Christmas ornament, and stitched on A Quaker Christmas
Keep it up... you are doing great.
ReplyDeleteI love watching things as they start coming together.
The rate you're stitching at, you'll have it done in plenty of time.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are well on track for a pre-Christmas finish!
ReplyDeleteLooks great, I think you'll finish it in time. Now if I could only finish my two WIPs in time!
ReplyDeleteThe green in this sampler always looks like dark gray to me, so if I were to start this one (and there is a distinct possibility that that will happen, esp. if you keep posting progress pics every day!) I think I would use DMC 844 :o)
ReplyDeleteNice to see both pictures, this way we can follow your progresss more accurately. And I am sure you'll get it finished in time :)
ReplyDeleteYour AQC looks incredible Carol!
ReplyDeletecarol i reckon you can have it finished and framed by early november the rate you are going keep at it girl :)
ReplyDeleteGreat progress Carol, it's looking gorgeous
ReplyDeleteI have this on my "To-Do" list as well. I love the fabric you chose.
ReplyDeleteThis is looking simply stunning!
ReplyDeleteComing along really nicely.
ReplyDeleteYou are on a mission with this one! Go girl go!! xx
ReplyDeleteWow at this rate it will be on the wall well before Christmas Day
ReplyDeleteWell done
