Ah, there it is! I have been avoiding stitching this honeycomb-like motif. I just don't care for it... but there it is, finished... easy from here on :-)
Stitched on today: Stitched on Pumpkin Patch Exchange, and on A Quaker Christmas
Well, that didn't take long! I really admire you for sticking with something you don't care to stitch. Even if I were this close to finishing the sampler, if I would come across a motif I didn't like, I would chuck the entire sampler on the WIP pile. Or UFO pile. Or the fabric salvage pile.
Carol, I feel exactly the same way about the honeycomb. I kept thinking the whole time I stitched it....why? or why so much? ....lol... Great progress:)
I can't believe how quickly this is stitching up now, Carol - I predict a finish before the end of October!
I'm sorry that your Red Sox lost last night - they made an amazing come-back up until that point. :( - After the Cubs were knocked out of the play-offs, I decided to root for the Red Sox!
You really are motoring on this one, it looks great.
ReplyDeleteI can feel a big HD, coming soon! It looks wonderful, Carol!
ReplyDeleteThe finish can't be far off - will you start stitching more quickly now? :o)
ReplyDeleteIt looks great Carol, I can imagine that it wasn't the most fun motif on this sampler. I hope you'll be able to finish it this year.
