Dumb, Dumb, Dumb....

That's me today :-) I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the calendar and scheduled my usual Monday clients for today... pulled into the office parking lot this morning and there were barely 10 cars there, rather than the usual 100 - 150! Oh, today was Columbus Day! I thought that was next Monday - LOL! My client turnout was so-so, but oh well... I already made sure to mark off Veteran's Day in my appointment book next month... no need to drive in for nothing on that day too :-)

While watching the baseball playoffs tonight, I chose to just finish the border of this block and stitch some more of the night sky... all no-count stuff :-)

Nothing too interesting tonight!!! I did manage to catch up on 25% of blogs though. Thanks to those of you who still visit even if my schedule has been so busy. {{{HUGS}}} to you!

Stitched on today: Finished a PIF gift, started a PIF gift, and Houses of Hawk Run Hollow

My mom worked yesterday, too, Carol. It's not dumb! Forgetful, maybe. ;)

Love your progress on HOHRH!!

Congratulations on all your progresses. Ann.

Doh! lol. I hope you took some stitching to work with you to fill in time.

I was wondering the exact same thing as Karen. Hope this at least allowed you to get some stitching done!

Not to worry, we've all done something similar. For instance, jumping out of bed on a Saturday thinking I've over slept, rushing to get ready, then finding the library closed!

You're making great progress on the HOHRH.

I hate it when I do forgetful things like that but they happen non the less. That's just life! LOL!

HOHRH is looking great! I am anxious for my chart to arrive so I can start on it too!

I've done daft things like that before I once went to wait for my lift to work and it was a bank holiday Monday and no-one was at work LOL

Ah, everybody makes that mistake once in a while :) At least you didn't have a manic day! HOHRH is coming along really nicely.

I worked yesterday and my DD had classes and work, only my DH got to stay home and play. Love your HoHRH.

My DH calls these my menopause moments, lol! I think I've only gotten as far as the car before someone caught me and filled me in!

That's funny! I have the opposite problem, I think... I'm always aware of holidays well in advance, but on a normal day I can't tell you if it's Tuesday or Wednesday or what! LOL!

In our part of the country about the only offices closed for Columbus Day are government offices and banks. Not even the schools had the day off; however, they do have Friday off for a Professional Day! So you're not so dumb at all, Carol!!

Always lovely to see all the wonderful stitching you've done and the exchanges you've received. Hugs!

I sure was at work! Since I don't have it off, I don't even think about it being a holiday. HRH looks fabulous - that block is going to be great when it's all filled in! I'm behind on my blog reading again too - so I hope you'll forgive my bundle commenting!

LOL, they never feel like real holidays, anyway! Houses is lovely!

Your houses look great. I heard thru the grapevine that there is supposed to be another hawk run chart out. Tho, didn't see one pictured on the web site
