Christmas Ornament from Becky K.
I received this sweet Daffycat reindeer ornament from Becky this week. She stitched this for me for the current HoE Christmas Ornament Exchange. I think it is so cute. Thank you Becky, shall cherish this for years to come.

Halloween Exchange and Gifts for Friends
I received this really cute Prairie Schooler Halloween Tree ornament earlier this week from
Becky. This was HoE's first Halloween Tree Ornament Exchange that will be running six times a year. I just love how Becky finished this with blanket stitch!!
Earlier today I finally received the good news from Katrina that the Christmas ornament I sent to her back on (I checked my receipt last night) November 1, finally arrived safe and sound in New Zealand! Whew!!!!
And, great news from Andrea yesterday... she received an ornament I had stitched for her as well... hers arrived much quicker. Just waiting on one more overseas ornament to muddle its way through the holiday postal system now.
I am so very close now to finishing Santa's Village. I had to take a day off to rip out a misplaced cafe table and some other parts...grrr.... truly want to get on it tonight, but still have three more ornaments to stitch. Therefore, going to take the responsible route, listen to my AudioNotch recordings for 90 mins (they are a therapy program for my tinnitus - must say I see some slight improvement and it is still early days), visit with Mike (DH) and start one of those three ornaments tonight. Perhaps there will be a good movie to watch too.

HoE Ornament Exchanges
I sent off two HoE ornament exchanges on Monday, and both arrived at their destinations today....
First is one I stitched for Lisa - her partner bailed on the group and left Lisa hanging with nothing. Same person also failed to thank her sender for stitching for her.... this is no young woman we are talking about here, it is utterly shameful. However, while I have no idea how to resolve the issue for the lady who stitched for the person who up and disappeared, I loved stitching a replacement for Lisa... the theme was Christmas Birds. I had this chart and supplies tucked aside to stitch for myself, so I just grabbed it up and made it for her...
Noel Balades et Broderies par Carmela 32 ct Smokey Pearl Belfast Linen, CC Floss I also heard from Becky today that she received the ornament I stitched for her for the Blackbird Designs Ornament exchange. This is the same design I did stitch for myself a couple of weeks back.... but for Becky I made the ornament a little smaller and tied it with a cranberry bow instead... same blackbird fabric in the back... hope she likes it!
Peace Ornament Blackbird Designs JCS 2009 Christmas Ornament Issue 32 ct Antique Almond Belfast Linen, WDW, GAST and CC Floss It's almost the weekend - enjoy everyone!!
