I have two beautiful fabrics that I am selling - I just have too much.... going to start liquidating some.... First up is a 24" x 27" 28 ct Silkweaver Solo which is simply marked as an evenweave (do not know if it is lugana or jobelan, but feels like lugana) - lovely shades of blue and cream. There is one tiny little pink dye spot very near the center - a Mirabilia or PR design would cover it... so tiny, did not know it was there until I took it out to take the pic. Will part with this for $15 plus postage. sold....more coming soon....charts too
The other is a stunning stone colored Silkweaver 32 ct Jobelan FQ - also a solo, and a great neutral color. Will part with this for $12 plus postage. stone fabric sold
If interested in either or both, let me know! I will have more coming....

Beautiful Blue Fabrics for Sale
I noticed on my desk tonight that I still have a little pile of absolutely beautiful blue hand dyed fabrics that did not sell last time I posted them... so I figured I would try again... they are just gorgeous! Please leave me a comment if any of these appeal to you. I take checks, money orders and Pay Pal. If you are a non-US stitcher, then Pay Pal only. I will try to charge only actual shipping for you too.

Left to right:
Silkweaver 28 ct Blue Dynasty Cashel Linen, 18" x 26", $20 -

Leslie's neighborhood is growing a bit. I got a little bored with filling in the grey siding of the house, so I did a bit of the vine on the roof tonight. I know the house looks a little off center - that is by design ;-)
Stitched on today: Finished a gift, started a new CE exchange and stitched on Leslie's Neighborhood Round Robin **Mailed off a PIF gift today

Lots and Lots of Hand-Dyed Fabrics for Sale
I cleaned out a bit of my stash yesterday and am putting up many pieces of hand-dyed fabrics, mostly linen, for sale. It has been a rough winter and as a fee-for-service mental health provider, my income was hit pretty hard by the bad weather and the subsequent difficulties my indigent, impoverished clients have had with getting to their therapy appointments. I am able to pay my bills, of course, but I have no fun money right now. So... please help me! Below are my available fabrics and their prices are listed (I set them low to sell) - please email me at carolsutcliffe @ comcast dot net (omit spaces and don't spell out dot) with your choices. I will calculate reasonable postage with you. I accept PayPal, money orders, checks, cash... International buyers, PayPal only. Thank you!! I hope you see something you like!

I spent most of my stitching time today on a Christmas ornament for the Christmas Ornament SAL - I got the stitching done, but need to do the finishing tomorrow afternoon before I can show it. I did find some time to work a little on Spring Ride again tonight. I want to keep this in my Sunday night routine again...

Many Thank Yous ~ And Hand-Dyed Fabrics for Sale
Oh gosh - more birthday gifts arrived today. Just look at this gorgeous flat fold that dear Harmien sent to me! How pretty is this? It now sits on my bureau in my bedroom by my couple of pretty cologne bottles. I just adore it, Harmien, and it was such a surprise! Thank you!
I also received this generous gift parcel from Hazel. She stitched me this super pretty scissor fob with a peacock design in it. The colors are amazing! And, she sent this assortment of goodies too! I was so surprised. Hazel, you are so sweet - thank you!!
And, with our Neighborhood Round Robin winding down now, Su sent each stitcher an adorable little house fob as a thank you gift for stitching on hers. Here is the one I received from her today - it is so cute! I hung it on a pot of sunflowers Mike started under grow lights in the house - the fob has little sunflowers on it, so it seemed appropriate - plus, Mike's little seedlings get to be seen around the world now - LOL! Su has a photo of the whole collection of fobs in her blog, and her completed RR can also be seen here. Lucky Su, she is the first to get her RR home. Thank you again Su, I adore the fob!
Speaking of that particular RR group, I am currently stitching on my last square for the group.. here is more progress on Annemarie's RR. Beau and I pulled some flosses to make some color changes, since the chart is primarily very pastel. Beau never lets me choose fibers or fabrics on my own - LOL!! He seemed to give a lot of attention to GAST Brethren Blue, so that won out! Many trials later, and DMC 729 looks like the best fit for the rest of the house :-) I am using The Monkey Sampler by Midsummer Night Designs. An asked us each to stitch something quirky in our blocks. I have been waiting for this RR to arrive, as I have wanted to stitch those dancing monkeys with the big flower on the lawn for her for quite some time! I don't have the monkey floss color, so I better pick that up on my way home from the DMV tomorrow morning (it is driver's license renewal day for me). Anyhow, I hope An likes it!And... it is that time again - to clear out the old to make room for the new! I have several hand dyed fabrics for sale. I prefer PayPal, but will take a check or money order. Non-US bidders, though, need to pay by PayPal. I am still trying to figure out and get used to these new US postal rates, so if you want any, I will consult the chart Mike got at the PO and get you your postage :-) I hope you see something you like!

I remain woefully behind in blog reading. I have actually read several but with work having been very busy this week, there was little time to comment. I am on a mission now on my little holiday break to catch up! Please don't be offended if I have not commented in your blog lately. It's nothing personal!!

Life is back to normal here - my houseguests are back in Florida, and I am relaxed and finding time to stitch again :-) House 1 is growing...
Unfortunately, I got some very sad news this morning from my mother. My uncle/godfather passed away late last night after a long battle with cancer. I was not aware of how far along he was, so this was suprising and so sad to hear. He is out in California, and I do not yet know anything about his funeral...
And... some spring garden photos taken from my own garden this afternoon... I have no idea what that last plant is called. I lost its tag over its first winter and have no clue what it is... LOL

Bordeaux Sampler Update & Some Fabrics Still For Sale
It is really helping to have Wednesday evenings reserved for Bordeaux Sampler. Before Anne and I decided to do that, this sampler just was not making any progress at my end. Now I am getting some good stuff done... finished those over one grapes above the baskets, what a relief! (I aplogize for what appears to be one of my long hairs on the fabric in the photo - geesh!)I still have some hand-dyed fabrics left, so before I either put them on ebay or tuck them aside for a while, I figured I would show them again - PayPal preferred (if out of the US, PayPal required) - postage is low, we can work that out once you contact me :-)
Bottom Row:
I spoke with my mother for a bit on the phone today - yep, there is a new kitty planned! My niece has a friend whose cat just had kittens two days before Mom lost Pookie. Two of the kittens are silver tabby males. Mom asked Nicole to choose which one would be good for her. We talked about the joy of having two kitties, as they keep each other company. My mom is 69 and very active - she is an artist who teaches watercolor painting and is active socially. We talked about how two kittens might be a good idea. She says she already told Nicole that if there are any problems with finding homes for all of the kittens, she would take two - I hope so!! She sounds excited. The kitten(s) will not arrive until May, so this gives her the good mourning period for Pookie as well.
Monique - St. Reatham is Long Dog Samplers' new release :-)
My template refuses to break up paragraphs when I publish with the "new" Blogger - pretty silly, really....

Lots of Hand Dyed Fabrics For Sale
Saturdays are good days too :-) I really enjoy working on And A Forest Grew. Tonight I finished that very colorful tree that I started last week, and I have decided that it must be some kind of hybrid citrus tree that grows both oranges and grapefruits... well, at least, that is what I decided. Almost through Section 6 now.Tomorrow morning after I get up and make my coffee, I am heading straight into my room of stash and pull charts to get some serious work in on Rachael's Neighborhood Round Robin - thanks to all of the wonderful ideas you lovely ladies have given me!! I think this is really going to come together now! You'll see... ;-)
And, well, the monthly installment will come due soon on Angus' surgery and hospital bill (Angus' 6th birthday is Monday, by the way - he is very chipper lately too). So..... I will let go of even more fabrics yet again this month. Let me know if you want any of these. PayPal is preferred, and if you are outside of the US, then PayPal is the only payment that works for me. Shipping is low - we will chat about that when you contact me - I hope you see something you like! Thanks!

*****OK, blogging pals, you came through for me solidly last time! I am seeking another Prairie Schooler freebie. I am looking for one that is of the four seasons in a square... sun, leaf, pansy, snowflake... at the bottom of the wee card it says "For additional designs see our new Book No. 50 'Prairie Seasons." Does anyone have this?? I will happily negotiate. I have a very large freebie stash or will trade for another chart, if you like! Thank you!!
I received the name of my Monochromatic Exchange recipient for the SBEBB exchange today - I am so happy and excited, so many ideas in my mind right now as to what I want to make for her! Thanks Paula - I appreciate you setting up this fun exchange!

Birds
Both Mike and I are fighting a virus here - have been for days, and for me it is causing tremendous back pain. But, I have still found ways to stitch. I put some time in on And A Forest Grew tonight - mostly stitched a whole bunch of birds. I could have gone on longer, but I was also very sidetracked today by a gift that I started, and am enjoying too much to put down!
I still have two more pieces of fabric available for sale - let me know if you want them!

I got an email from Anne tonight letting me know that my birthday gifts for her have arrived safely - whew! Always worry when they travel so far! This was a first for me - I made her a little needlework kit out of an Altoid tin. I put magnets inside on the top and bottom (Mike has magnetic business cards, boy did they come in handy here!) and put needles in the top and a wee pair of scissors in the bottom (***Joann's sells their own line of scissors and they fit nicely into an Altoid tin). Anne seems to be thrilled with my effort, and see her blog for a better photo - it looks a bit wonky here (which surprised me) but looks right in her photo :-)
