I also received this generous gift parcel from Hazel. She stitched me this super pretty scissor fob with a peacock design in it. The colors are amazing! And, she sent this assortment of goodies too! I was so surprised. Hazel, you are so sweet - thank you!!
And, with our Neighborhood Round Robin winding down now, Su sent each stitcher an adorable little house fob as a thank you gift for stitching on hers. Here is the one I received from her today - it is so cute! I hung it on a pot of sunflowers Mike started under grow lights in the house - the fob has little sunflowers on it, so it seemed appropriate - plus, Mike's little seedlings get to be seen around the world now - LOL! Su has a photo of the whole collection of fobs in her blog, and her completed RR can also be seen here. Lucky Su, she is the first to get her RR home. Thank you again Su, I adore the fob!
Speaking of that particular RR group, I am currently stitching on my last square for the group.. here is more progress on Annemarie's RR. Beau and I pulled some flosses to make some color changes, since the chart is primarily very pastel. Beau never lets me choose fibers or fabrics on my own - LOL!! He seemed to give a lot of attention to GAST Brethren Blue, so that won out! Many trials later, and DMC 729 looks like the best fit for the rest of the house :-) I am using The Monkey Sampler by Midsummer Night Designs. An asked us each to stitch something quirky in our blocks. I have been waiting for this RR to arrive, as I have wanted to stitch those dancing monkeys with the big flower on the lawn for her for quite some time! I don't have the monkey floss color, so I better pick that up on my way home from the DMV tomorrow morning (it is driver's license renewal day for me). Anyhow, I hope An likes it!
And... it is that time again - to clear out the old to make room for the new! I have several hand dyed fabrics for sale. I prefer PayPal, but will take a check or money order. Non-US bidders, though, need to pay by PayPal. I am still trying to figure out and get used to these new US postal rates, so if you want any, I will consult the chart Mike got at the PO and get you your postage :-) I hope you see something you like!

I remain woefully behind in blog reading. I have actually read several but with work having been very busy this week, there was little time to comment. I am on a mission now on my little holiday break to catch up! Please don't be offended if I have not commented in your blog lately. It's nothing personal!!
Stitched on today: Mermaid and the Sea, and Annemarie's Neighborhood Round Robin

Fantastic mail day for you, love the flatfold and fob and of course the wee fob from Su :)
Annemaries RR will look really nice with that design !
BEEutiful gifts, Carol :)
How adorable gifts you have get again !! Especially I love the flat fold which Harmien made for you as well as peacock fob.
I´d love to buy that SW Cashel solo 17x17 and Periwinkle Lugana 18x18.
I'm so pleased you like the flatfold, Carol. It was a joy to stitch for/craft for you! The two fobs are very cute! I hope you have a wonderful birthday even though it isn't for another few days! An's RR looks wonderful and I can't wait to see those monkey's!!
Oooh, you're spoiling us with your nice long, chatty post, Carol! Double oooooh: I remember seeing that gorgeous flatfold of Harmien's IRL. It's fabulous, isn't it? Harmien brought it over for me to drool over a couple of weeks ago, and I was utterly jealous.
I also adore the peacock fob. Can't remember I've seen this design anywhere, and it's perfect for you.
And as for my RR: I LOVE it! You and Beau did very well. Can't wait to see the rest!
Lovely gift from Harmien, I was just admiring it on her blog :)
The Monkey Sampler sounds like a great choice for Annemarie's RR - can't wait to see this one stitched. I like your (and Beau's) colour choices so far!
You're welcome Carol. I love that flat fold. Must learn how to do one of those! xx
Such lovely gifts Carol... Beautiful!!
And I feel so bad. :(
May I please speak up for the two SW solos in the bottom row? You'll need to let me know the shipping, and I'll PayPal you today. :D
Your gifts are gorgeous! I just love Harmien's style. :D And your choice for Annemarie's NRR is inspired!! That's utterly brilliant. I can't wait to see how it comes out! Beau and you make a great team for choosing colors, too!
Gorgeous gifts you've received and lovely work on the RR!!
Beautiful gifts Carol! I saw all the fobs on Su's blog. Very Cute. I e-mailed you about one of the fabrics you have for sale. Enjoy your weekend!
What great gifts to receive in the mail. The house scissor fob is gorgeous.
Lovely giftys Carol! Enjoy!
I am totally loving your blog! I recently started back stitching and am rediscovering my lost love! Would love to do some of these houses and ornament swaps!
Hi Carol,
Your prezzies are just great. I really like the RR and that peacock is just the bomb!!! I have emailed you about a couple of the fabrics.

Wonderful gifts that you have been receiving for your birthday. Glad the wee fob arrived safe and sound.
Oh my gosh, Carol you have the BEST mail days!! I love that flatfold :)
Such pretty things in your blog today. The gifts are lovely, as are the sunflowers. I love sunflowers, they're so bright and cheery. The RR is turning out nice, can't wait to see those monkeys!
Thanks for all the shares. I love the gifties you have received. I think An's NRR will be exactly what she ordered. ☺
I am sending you off something today (hopefully-1 stamp short!), though not stitching related right now, but ask Barbara, never saw never. ; )
What beautiful gift, you lucky lady :o)
Oh I was soo tempted when I looked earlier and saw that no-one had yet bought the fabrics. I know I probably wouldn't have been able to use them though so I didn't dare email you. I'm glad they've mostly gone now else I don't think I'd have been able to resist lol.
What beautiful gifts Carol. The flatfold is particularly beautiful.
Gorgeous gifts Carol! Enjoy!
What gorgeous gifts! Happy birthday, Carol!
What lovely surprises to receive, and the RR is looking beautiful too. Beau must do a wonderful job helping you pull floss and fabric, as your projects always look so wonderful.
Sue
Wow, you have gotten some fantastic gifts! Everyone is so generous.
I am woefully behind in my blog reading too, but working on trying to fix that tonight!
You have received many lovely packages in the last few days - all well-deserved.
Have a great weekend!
