Spring Ride is Back!

It's really been a while since I have worked on Spring Ride. Round robins have kind of taken up its slot. But I brought it back out tonight. It is hard to see my progress as I primarily used White Marlitt and DMC 746 tonight. And am still scanning it - this one is so hard to photograph!

I got the good news from Sue tonight that she has received a little birthday gift from me - today is her real birthday and I was worried that the USPS would not get it to her on time. I was busy with many late June/early July stitcher birthdays, but somehow, Sue's got to her in time! I stitched another of the Red Velvet Building Blocks fobs, with her intials, S and A. I totally forgot to photograph the A side - oops! Here is the S:
Red Velvet Building Blocks Fob
Blue Ribbon Designs
32 ct Vintage Country Mocha Linen, DMC Color Variations in Radiant Ruby

And... here is a very small selection of more of the blooms in the garden from various points over this weekend:

I am sooo far behind in blog reading! Too busy in the garden and such things - I hope everyone is well, and I promise to catch up this week!

Stitched on today: Started Little Critters Exchange project, and Spring Ride

Spring ride is so pretty, but it is hard when the colors you're working with are so close to the fabric color. Your fob is lovely too, I still can't believe how much you get done. Finally, your garden must be gorgeous, the pictures of your flowers sure are.

Your SR is looking gorgeous. It's good to see what I've gone coming next :o)

You said very similar to me in my post about last night SAL. Seems we were both stitching in the very same colours last night.

Oh, such lovely blooms! And I love the butterfly snuggling up for a sip in the one. How wonderful! You did a beautiful job on the fob for Sue. Thank goodness the USPS pulled through to get it to her in time. :)

I am way behind on blog reading too! Spring Ride looks amazing, but I can understand why it would be difficult to photograph. Love the photos of your flowers, as always!
