Harvest House Exchange from Simone


Today I received my Harvest House Exchange from Simone. Simone stitched me a trinket box using the autumn house from There's No Place Like Home by The Drawn Thread.. and sent me a sweet Marjolein Bastin kit and a memo pad too. Thank you Simone!
Here you can see the inside of the box... it came filled with lovely Anchor threads and a skein of DMC Color Variations too! I love it all Simone - thank you!!!

Goal Review Time :-) Let's see...

September Goals:
1. Continue to work on Houses of Hawk Run Hollow -yes
2. Continue to work on Victoria's Quaker -yes
3. Continue to work on Dawn, Fairy Spirit of Grace -yes
4. Continue to work on And A Forest Grew -yes
5. Continue to work on Spring Ride -yes
6. Finish Cathy's Neighborhood RR (Group 3) and send it to An by 9/15 -yes, and An has it now
7. Finish Sabine's Neighborhood RR (Group 1) and send it to Nikki by 10/1 -yes, I sent it on Saturday
8. Stitch some gifts, including at least one PIF - I stitched three gifts, but no PIFS (sigh)
9. Stitch return exchange for Susan (crazy exchange) -yes, I sent it on 9/24 but Susan is travelling and will not be home to receive it for a while - and I initiated an exchange with Cynthia
10. Stitch and send off Harvest House Exchange by 9/15 -yes, and Cari has received it
11. Stitch and send off Grateful Hearts Exchange by 9/24 - yes, and Julianne has received it
12. Stitch and send off Fair and Square to Wendy by 9/7 -yes, and Wendy has received them

October Goals:
1. Continue to work on Houses of Hawk Run Hollow
2. Continue to work on Victoria's Quaker
3. Continue to work on Dawn, Fairy Spirit of Grace
4. Continue to work on And A Forest Grew
5. Continue to work on Spring Ride
6. Work on Erin's Neighborhood Round Robin
7. Stitch some gifts, including some PIFS (especially Jenna's and Heather's, as those are the oldest ones waiting still)
8. Finish USEBB Autumn Quaker Exchange and mail by 10/5 - already mailed it on Saturday and Goldie received it today
9. Finish SBEBB Halloween Exchange and mail by 10/10 - already mailed it today
10. Finish USEBB Halloween Exchange and mail by 10/10
11. Stitch Harvest Time Exchange and mail by 11/1
12. Stitch Fair and Square squares for An, and mail by 11/2 (her birthday)
13. Start Autumn Seasonal Exchange for Myrna
14. Initiate a Crazy Exchange for...???...:-)

And... an update of Houses of Hawk Run Hollow. Finished the roof, started the wall and worked on the tree trunk... :-)

A must see - check out Jonathan Papelbon, the Red Sox closer, partying and dancing in his black spandex biker shorts after the Red Sox won the AL East on Friday night... Kevin Youkilis, first baseman, has a bit of a running (??) dance of his own. What a hoot! Check out Papelbon's face!!
