Not at this rate!

I worked on the border of Serenity for quite some time tonight. I then put it down at the end, looked at it, didn't think it looked like I got much done, and all I could think was: I am not going to get this done anytime soon - not at this rate! At this rate, I would guess more like 2012! Oh, I will keep plugging away!

My littlest one, Ava, helped out tonight while I was taking the picture of Serenity ;-) She is rewarded with her photo in my blog tonight. She has been clingy all night long :-)

Stitched on today: Stitched on Spring Exchange for Myrna, and stitched on Serenity

Those BAPs can seem endless sometimes, but look back at your progress pics and you've made some beautiful progress. :) Ava's a sweet little helper.

It is a pretty intense border, isn't it. Never mind, every stitch is progress!

It may take a while, but all the effort is certainly worth it, Carol! The colours all stand out much more nicely now that the border is progressing.

Carol,

Serenity is looking gorgeous, but I can imagine that border makes it seem frustrating.

Your little babies are too precious! I just love their little faces... what breed of cats are they?

I think Ava matches Serenity as well as the carpet. Love watching the progress on this one and it wasn't until this picture that I decided I have to have this one too.

Carol, you're so funny! Yeah, it may take you awhile to finish up Serenity, but you'll do it far faster than just about anyone I know as you will keep plugging away at it. :D
It was so sweet of Ava to help you. What a pretty kitty!

Ava is so cute! She looks freshly brushed, too. I'm sure you'll knock out the border of Serenity as long as you put your mind to it. :)

Ava is so cute, thanks for sharing cat photos too :) I love your WIPs and hope that weather will be better soon for stitching! Here it's been perfect, sunny but quite cold, so it's nice to sit inside and stitch :)

What a sweet photo of Ava! Romeo has been very clingy with me lately as well. Guess he got used to me being at home. That border on Serenity does look like it will take forever. It looks beautiful though!
