A New Start - and it's a big one!

Well... here I go! I started something - finally - and it is a big something! Karen gifted me with this chart, and then talked me into starting it with her... Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow... it's been so long since I started something big.... gulp! This is Monday's and tonight's progress so far...

I did do a little more on Gingerbread Garden Sampler - will do a little more, and then show it!

What a great start, I am sure you'll love it Carol. Since you started so early in the year, maybe you'll have it done before Christmas.

Congrats on the new start Carol! I haven't purchased any of the Hawk Run charts...but I do think I'm going to get this one!!!

How wonderful! I started C at HRH also. I started at the bottom so I have #12 done and the background on #11 to do. I will probably stitch on #10 as I fill in the bkgrd. Great Start!

Looking great, Carol!

Great Start!!! But don't think of it as a large project. Think of each block as a finish! It should go easier that way.

3:00 PM

Lovely start Carol - can't wait to see more!

4:46 PM

A beautiful start!! Congrats!!

5:17 PM

Happy stitching! Margaret

You're off to a good start, Carol. I have this in my stash, and the only reason I haven't started it is that I promised myself I would wait until I finished Shores. Every time I see someone's progress picture, I want to start mine!

10:17 PM

This will be a fun project, you will see. Each blog is a finish and you will love it.

8:34 AM

Great start Carol, I love it!

Look forward to watching your progress on this one - shame Karen doesn't blog anymore so we can't watch hers grow too :( Of course if most people are to go by, you do know that you'll then have to stitch all the others in the series too? LOL

4:34 PM

Congrats on your new start Carol! Fantastic choice too! Several of the ladies in my stitching group are doing this together and really enjoying it. Now I wish I'd started along with them.
