I am still shooting for my goal to finish Acorn Sampler this month. I have made it to the last band - all that delicate backstitching, the quidlobets and the verse are ahead. I do think this would have been much, much nicer on 32 ct instead of 28 ct linen (this is a class kit from Celebration of Needlework last month, so I had no choice) - the silk would have covered better ;-)
Stitched on today: Finished HoE LHN Exchange, and stitched on Acorn Sampler **Mailed out a new CE Exchange today

It's coming together beautifully! I will be rooting for you to get this finished this month :)
Great progress Carol. Strange isn't it how class kits are often 28 count when 32 would be better - yours looks wonderful though.
I think it is looking so lovely, Carol :) I tend to like 32ct much better than 28 myself :)But I will stitch on anything as I have lot's of 28ct. I will be using it :)
Have a nice weekend :)
((hugs))
Beautiful stitching Carol. :) I really do like this sampler, and silks can be a joy to stitch with.
Great progress, it seems to me that you just started stitching this piece :)
Very beautiful Carol. I prefer to use a smaller count fabric too
Fingers crossed that you can still meet your goal Carol! It's looking lovely :)
I'm strictly a 32ct and above girl - I hate stitching on anything lower ;)
Its really pretty
Very nice Carol! I know you'll get this finished this month. Your so close to getting a few pieces done.
Very nice progress, Carol! And I love the patriotic exchange pieces you did - wonderful choice.

This piece is coming along so well. Your exchange below is great too.
I'm cheering for you on your finish of the Acorn by the end of the month. The end is definitely in sight!!Very pretty!
An amazing progress on "Acorn" sampler and it looks so lovely.
it looks nice and I think you will have it done on time.
It's looking gorgeous Carol. I, too, prefer 32ct or even 36ct fabrics.
Carol! It's Gorgeous!!!!!!! I know you can get it done this month and while I, too, prefer the finer count linen, I don't think this piece could be prettier. You go girl!
Great progress on your sampler.
