PIF for Dawn

I continue to work my way through my list of stitchers who signed on to do PIF with me. And today I heard that Dawn received my PIF gift for her... this is the stitched part of what I sent to her - I had been digging through Patriotic patterns while putting together the Patriotic Exchange I did last week, I came across this sweet chart - had to stitch it too!

USA Fob

Trail Creek Farm

32 ct Dirty Belfast Linen, WDW Floss

And, this is for many of friends, especially Jill - you may have already seen Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen on David Letterman's show, but I only heard of it today and did, of course, find it on You Tube - we are waiting out a rain delay at the Red Sox game now - the Celtics are all there to celebrate and Paul Pierce will be throwing out the first pitch :-)

Off to work on my Christmas in July Exchange project now...

Stitched on today: Started a gift, and started Christmas in July Exchange project **Mailed HoE LHN Exchange today

What a cute fob, and it is perfect for the season. Your acorn piece is looking lovely, and you're so close to being done. Sorry that you're not enjoying it as much on the 28ct as you would on the 32ct. I've ran into that occationally with class projects as well. It would be nice to have a choice between counts, but I imagine that would make things more complicated for the teachers keeping extra fabric of both counts on hand, and so many people don't seem to like the finer counts. Looking forward to seeing it when you post your finish.
