Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July to all of my US friends - and American born friends too :-)

I settled in to watch Rascal Flatts/The Boston Pops/Boston Harbor Fireworks tonight along with A Quaker Christmas... I hope everyone else had as lovely an evening too.

... Funny video, poor quality though. This is two of the Boston Red Sox's relief pitchers - Jonathan Papelbon and Manny DelCarmen remaking Milli Vanilli's "Blame it on the Rain." They made this to show on the jumbotron during rain delays at Fenway Park :-) It's worth a peek... (the video was shot by a fan at the park... and he/she got distracted by someone going onto the field... but still captures it pretty well).

Oh, I remember going to watch the Boston Pops on the waterfront the two years I lived there!! :D

Hope your day was fabulous, Carol!

Maybe if the Sox win the Wold Series this year the Blame it on the Rain video will be on the DVD. :)

Last year we were able to see the Boston display on TV. This year, however, we had to choose between Philadelphia (where we live), NY and DC. I station flipped until I figured out NY was putting on the best show. I would have liked to see what was going on in Boston - they usually do a good one too.

Quaker Christmas is looking so pretty, sounds like you had quite a fun evening. Your earlier post of your finished section of the Spooky RR was wonderful. That RR is such a fun idea.
