No Ott- Lite!

What a bad day!! I switched on my Ott-Lite floor lamp this afternoon, in preparation of finishing my biscornu for the SBEBB Biscornu Exchange, and the bulb was dead. Well, it had to happen sometime. I run the thing every single day!! We buzzed off to A.C. Moore, but they are discontinuing the bulbs and only had small sized ones in stock. So I had to order a couple from Joann Fabrics' online store... so... gotta wait 5-10 days. But, then when I settled in to stitch, it was not so terribly awful :-)

I went back to work on Shelley's Halloween Round Robin. It is funny, I got so many comments on the witch calling it my "finish," but there is still a bit more to go. The witch has some friends now - a bat and a ghost, as well as her magical wand!

Stitched on today: Finished SBEBB Biscornu Exchange, and stitched on Shelley's Halloween Round Robin **Mailed out a gift today

Cute witch!

I guess there's a lesson in your bulb dilemma for all of us... keep spares! :-)

Oh, I did think the witch was finished, but now that you're adding more friends, I like her even better. Love the colours! I hope your bulbs arrive soon!

I'm still waiting to find a good daylight lamp here.

I've tried to email you a few times regarding the chart - I did receive it, and thank you so much!

That witch is soooo adorable!! I love her!

Sorry to hear about your light. I have had mine for a little over two years, and am just waiting for the day the bulb goes. It's been flickering a little for the last month, so I am sure it will be going soon!!!

Cute little witch - Barbara Ana's designs are 'smile making' - looks like a fun stitch.
I haven't visited for a while (catching up at work after our trip has left me pooped) and - wow, your needle has been flying :)

Do you think the storm had anything to do with your lamp not working now?
