Here is Ms. Jeannette herself, chatting with students in class...
... and here is my progress on the class piece as of late last night - I did three bands in class, and then four more when I got home. It is a long band sampler that she finished as a bellpull to be rolled and tucked away in the box. I could not afford to also take the finishing class that was held today... I actually plan to just frame mine when done. It's called Royalty ABC, and I will try to remember to post more progress pictures as I have them.
I have definitely been more in a stitching mood again - whew! That was a long dry spell, and I hope it stays picked up for me again!
Currently Stitching: Royalty ABC, CaHORH - mailed off my HoE Early Christmas Exchange yesterday

So cool! Glad you had a good time. Looking forward to progress pics on the sampler.
Looks like lots of fun
Looks like it was a lot of fun and glad that you had a good time. I used to go to those years ago (i.e., before hubby and kids)! I miss going to them.
I'm so glad you had a good time! I've been out of the stitching loop for so long but just got back from a stitching retreat this weekend myself. It felt good to get back in the stitching mode - so I can understand how you feel.
I took a class with Jeannette a few years ago at our retreat and really enjoyed it. Looks like you had a great time. Love your progress so far.
Looks like this is going to be a beautiful sampler. Glad you had such a good time.
Gorgeous piece! Glad you had a fun time and you are more in the mood for stitching.
Very pretty band sampler. Glad you had a great time.
Hi Carol!
I wish i could have seen you at the Celebration of Needlework. I went on Saturday-just to the mall part. I came back with a few goodies though-Nora Corbetts' ABC Fairies and a Sweetheart tree mini graduation design. I love seeing all the people and yes, even though there weren't as many vendors, the mood was upbeat. I still had a good time. Have a great day!

(i'm the girl that met you at colonial Needleworks -just in case you still remember me!)
This looks great! :D So glad to hear you had a fun time getting refreshed! :D
I enjoyed my trip to Celebration last year - I knew with my move to Texas in the middle of the year that I wouldn't be going this year, but that didn't stop me from looking at the class schedule - I did notice that Maureen Appleton didn't teach this year. She's one of my favorite designers to take a class with.
I'm sorry that I didn't get to meet you last year when I was there. I'm envious that you live to close to it!
