I finally tackled the rest of the ship on this sampler tonight. It really took a while to stitch it using the diagonal satin stitch. It was a little tricky to get into the rhythm and count it correctly to get those little flower-like motifs within the diagonal satin stitch. I have been avoiding it, but decided to do it today. Now the rest of the sampler will be very quick and easy.I saw in Jenna's blog today that she has received the belated birthday gift that I stitched for her - I wish I had taken a better photo of the fob... it is modeled here with my silly pink bunny scissors by Dinky Dyes - they matched the colors of the fob well :-)
