Oh my! Thank you for all of the wonderful comments about Paradigm Lost!! I never expected to hear from so many of you!! It is especially nice to have some new commenters in my blog - welcome! It was nice to hear from you :-)
It's Wednesday, so of course, it was time to have some wine in Bordeaux again - OK, that's true - I don't drink wine! This one is winding down really soon now too. I am working on the last band. The little boxers at the bottom are really quite frowny. I wonder if they made a bad batch of wine??
OK, I am doing another PIF! I signed up on Karin's blog a couple of days ago. I haven't heard back from her, but even if her group is full and cannot fit me in, I will still offer a PIF group here in my blog. I still have a small handful of PIF gifts to make from the last round (I did not forget you, ladies), and the new sign ups will be getting their gifts from me sometime within the next 12 months (hopefully less). So, the first five to comment that they want to join will receive a hand made gift from me. All you have to do is put this offer in your blog and make gifts for five people. OK, who wants in??
I have some flowers from my garden to share today. I have been thinking about a garden swap - are any of my US stitching friends interested in trading divisions of perennials this fall? I thought it would be quite neat to make a new flower bed that contains only divisions from my stitching friends. Customs and some US Dept of Agriculture restrictions apply, so only US friends can do this... any thoughts??
Here are some daylilies - the first is Brocaded Gown... I cannot recall the names of the other two... and then there is my favorite white peony... which is really bowing this year with very heavy blooms...
Stitched on today: Finished Fair and Square project, started a gift, and Bordeaux Sampler

Bordeaux looks wonderful!
I would like to sign up under you, Carol:)
Oh, your garden swap sounds like a great idea. Perhaps if you have another in a couple of years, I can join in!
Yesterday I had some problems commenting. That is why I didn;t have congrat you yet on that beautifull finish.I now just try to do it at another post and maybe that works, looks like it works. Also love Bordeaux and that one will be finished soon too.
How many finishes did you have this year already with all that beautifull smalls you have made?
I know I can't share actual plants with you from across the ocean, but perhaps you might be interested in a seed swap... I'm trying to get as many seeds from my daylilies as possible this year... and I think seeds are allowed...?
Please please sign me up for a PIF. Hurrah! I started blogging when the first wave of PIFs had just passed, so I missed out on all the fun.
Your Bordeaux looks so nice! I love your peonies, they are blooming now yay! Mine bloomed a few months back. they are so pretty.
Paradigm Lost is quite impressive. I'm amazed by the large projects that you do!
The perennial swap sounds like fun! Don't know if anyone would want my perennials, though...the only ones I have big enough to divide are daylilies, hosta, and irises. Oh yeah, I have *tons* of Columbine...it's almost overtaking us!
Nice Bordeaux! xx
Such gorgeous flowers!! The grooved texture of the first reminds me of dupioni. Obsessed, me? Noooo... ;)
I'll join in on the PIF. Flowers look beautiful-wish I had more of a green thumb!

Your daylilies are beautiful Carol. I planted one in my Dad's garden several years ago which has gorgeous coppery coloured blooms.
Nice progress on Bordeaux too :o)
I just love your blog, Carol :) I'm catching up with reading blogs and what wonderful things you have here again!! I LOVE Paradigm Lost, it's such a beauty. And can't wait to see Bordeaux sampler finished, it will be fantastic.
You've been stitching very beautiful gifts! The garden photos are pretty too and I so much enjoy seeing cat photos :) It really was wonderful to take time and read your blog. I'll be back :)
Bordeaux is great.
You have such pretty flowers. Your garden must be stunning! I hope you find some US stitchers to swap plants with as a stitchers patch sounds a great idea.
Oh my BS is almost done too! You'll have two LOVELIES to hang on your wall in no time!
Your flowers are so beautiful. Sadly, I only have a hibiscus and it is relatively new and not so large yet.
Paradigm Lost is stunning Carol, congratulations
Great progress on Bordeaux, I'm looking forward to enjoying this one finished as well
BS looks wonderful and I'm sure your garden swap will be as fun as it sounds. That white peony of yours is stunning!!
Bordeaux looks great! Are you excited that it's almost done? Do you know what will take it's place in your rotation?
I would love to sign up for your PIF. I've lurked on your blog for quite awhile.
Melissa
Bordeaux is coming along so fast now. You will likely have another big finish on your hands soon!
Great progress on Bordeaux, Carol! You won't be too far behind Anne on finishing this one. :) I would love to swap with you, but I don't have any divisible perennials... yet. Maybe someday in the future, we can swap some iris?
Looking good on the sampler. Wish I was in the USA and could join the garden swap, that is a great idea.
Bordeaux is lovely! And so close to being finished!
I love reading your blog...your stitching as always is gorgeous, as well as the pics of your flowers...
I would like to sign up for the PIF...if it's still open...
Beautiful flowers!
