Almost a house
The large house on this block is almost done now :-) Not a whole lot of time working on HOHRH tonight, since I spent the earlier part of the evening finally finishing the Seasonal Exchange project! I fell so far behind the eight ball this month due to my error on preparing the finishing on my original project on Saturday. I had spent well over a week stitching that piece. Now I have 11 days to stitch three more exchanges, and one (belated) birthday gift. Plus, progress on Isabelle's wedding gift was completely stopped and needs to restart. I usually don't let myself feel overwhelmed, but wow, this has been a busy month!! No complaints, really, just sharing, by the way!
So, how is everyone?? I didn't read any blogs today. My work project has been granted my full attention (as it really needs to and should) - I didn't even use the internet for non-business purposes today. Hi to you all! I look forward to catching up with you and hope everyone is doing great!

Oh dear, Carol, I feel so terrible that you are feeling overwhelmed partly because of me!! You know Seb and I haven't been expecting any gift *at all* from anyone due to the simplicity and intimacy of our wedding. Please, please don't worry about it, or I will end up hating myself. If you do insist on finishing it and sending it to us, why not send it for Christmas. This way, it will make this special event last even longer for us. I absolutely mean it, OK?
Not to mention I haven't managed to send you so much as a postcard for your birthday this year...
HofHRH is progressing so well. Congratulations on your dedication to this project!
I just came back from Sweden :)
Your HOHRH progress is fantastic, Carol. And try not to feel stressed or pressured - it's all for good fun!!!
I'm amazed at how much you can get done in such a short space of time. Your needles must be smoking by the end of your stitching sessions because they are flying so fast.
Your HOHRH is turning out quite nice.

HoHRH is really growing - it looks great :)
You sound like I feel too! My gift to Isabelle has also been on hold while I do RRs, exchanges and a must-do pressie for my mum!
I'm sorry you are feeling overwhelmed. Just take it one piece at a time and if your a little late I'm sure people will understand.
Your HoHRH is so gorgeous! Hope you have a productive week and manage to get all caught up :-).
As other commenters have said: great progress, and have fun stitching, no worries, I am sure your recipients will understand :-) Ann
Wow! HOHRH is coming along wonderfully! I am green with envy when I look at your almost completed pieces because I still haven't started on them!
I was so grateful to be gifted by you. Each and every gift you give enriches someone's life. Slow down, they will all get done - on your schedule not anyone elses. Had a riot this weekend at Ann's retreat! You would have loved it!
Sounds like a very busy month indeed! Well done on Block 5 - it's looking super!
Hi Carol: We get you are really busy -- take care -- don't fret!!
There are never enough hours in the day. I cannot remember the last time I picked up a needle to stitch anything ... and barely kept up with blogs most of the Summer.
I've just been a busy SAHM this Summer break. School starts tomorrow & my check-off list seems to be shrinking.
We all go thru it : )
Enjoy the day ... love your 'nearly' constructed house. it is a fabulous project
I know the feeling of being overwhelmed. I had it myself, but I am now working a bit in front with all the exchanges, so that I don;t have them all at once. Only one more thing for september and than that whole month all things are ready.
HOHRH is looking beautiful! I know what you mean about having to redo something. I just ripped out everything I stitched on Katrina's RR, because it wasn't working. I'll be starting over! Glad you made some progress on your exchange piece!
It will all get done. It always does. Doing too much stressing. Stitching is supposed to be your stress reliever. Houses is looking good.
Is this the whole of the HOHRH? I have been following Kevin's progress on this one too, but I can't follow how many houses were there. LOL certainly is big! It looks fantastic! Surely not for the faint of heart to do this one.
Oh dear, I hope you are feeling less stressed today! I think you need to curl up with your kitties and take a night off from stitching! (I can't believe I just said that!)
You have been realky busy these past few months but I'm sure you'll get everything done on time you are an amazing (and fast) stitcher, you get so much done in just one night.
HofHRH is looking great!
What can I say, HOHRH is just a SUPER DUPER JOB!!!!! Sorry about all the stress, just remember this to shall pass.... :)
Hi! The HOHRH islooking fabulous. I do hope you are feeling better, just take in the pleasure of having things to do and people to enjoy them.
That is a really nice piece. So much so, it made me want it! Ha! So I went over to my favorite place, the Silver Needle, and ordered it! I have seen it several time while browsing and now I see how lovely it really is.
