It's all about the lawn

All about the lawn... that is what I worked on all evening... the lawn :-) Hopefully soon that will be finished and I can stitch the other monkey, as well as a little something else - then this goes home to An :-) (Sorry about the overexposed photo).

Mike emailed me this photo a few days ago. He took the photo with his iPhone. He was in traffic and was following this truck for a while... he found it funny, so I figured I would share it with you too.

Becky emailed me the names for three upcoming exchanges today - woo hoo! Now to go read up on their blogs and see what I can learn about them for what to stitch and what goodies to send - cool!!

Thank you all for your kind comments about my first mattress pincushion - they mean a lot to me. It is always good to get feedback when trying a new technique.

I am behind on blog reading again... I am so sorry...

LOl, yes that photo is funny. That would have been quite extraordinary to see in real life.

Great RR again. It must be quite exciting to find out who you got for the exchanges. Sometimes though it's so hard to find out exactly the persons tastes isn't it. I've been trying to get some info on one blogger who hasn't got an online wishlist and I have no idea what she would like lol.

Well, I've seen a few moose in my lifetime but never on the roof of a car. What a great photo! Your RR is very nice as always

What the hell?! I think the moose is bigger than that car! LOL

I can't believe you have all this exchanges going on, I can hardly stitch with my son turning into his terrible two's I am so jealous haha. So when do you start making one? LOL

Thanks for stopping by my blog hun. Have a great weekend.

That moose photo is a hoot. Your RR is looking great. Don't feel bad about being behind on reading blogs, so am I. Being gone a few days can really put you behind. Getting close to being caught up on the ones I read on a regular basis, then there are the ones that I read every once in a while. Love your blog. You keep it very current.

Wow you got a lot of the grass done. It is looking great, and I can't wait to see the second monkey. The picture of the car with the moose was cute, it would have been fun to follow, thanks for sharing.

Carol-I've been wanting to ask, did you or are you going to stitch both monkeys the same color? My chart has them both the same color but in the picture one looks a lot lighter than the other. I haven't stitched my second one yet because I can't decide what to do. Seeing your progress has me wanting to work on this tonight, I might just have to pull it out and get to work on it. It's my take along project but I haven't been anywhere where I had to wait so it's been very neglected.
