Pretty Ginghers... and Goals

I got some pretty new Ginghers today! Meet Ashley! Ashley is Joann Fabrics' latest Gingher exclusive. I was in Joann's today just to buy a patch for a pair of jeans, and there they were... and on sale :-) Aren't they pretty? They are similar to Julias but in a lilac/purple/rose range :-)

Stitching wise, really not a lot to share. I had to rip out the leaves on the tree I started when I realized that what I thought was one symbol was really two different ones. Oh well, will fix that next week!

What a joy it was to watch Clay Buchholz of the Boston Red Sox throw a no-hitter tonight - age 22 and only his second start in the major league. No matter what team you cheer for, or whether you don't even follow or like baseball, it is hard to ignore that that is some feat! Very cool!!

Wow, I get to post the first comment?!

Love your new Ginghers and am going to see if they're also available online. :D AAFG looks great. Sympathies on the symbol mixup - the PS peacocks I just finished suffer from a similiar problem but I didn't frog it. LOL!

Hope you enjoy a lovely and restful Sunday!!

What pretty ginghers. I may have to go to Joann's and see if they have any left.

Sorry to hear you had to rip out all the work you did. Hope you can get it fixed quickly next week.

Love the Ginghers. I am a purple freak.

Who is the designer for Victoria's Quaker?

I was watching a football game and they kept us updated on that game. We saw the last three outs, the third one live. They broke away from the football game on ESPN. I am a part-time Red Sox fan. That was a great accomplishment.

Well, Miss Carol, a very ambitious list for Sept., but I have faith in you to accomplish your goals! And, well done for August, too! :) Your scissors are very pretty. I have a collection, as well, and I just love to look at them. You keep my stitching inspiration alive, Carol, keep stitching and posting.
Love and hugs,
Deb

My JoAnn's here didn't have the 4 inch scissors. The pattern is pretty. How about another picture of your Gingher collection-so we can drool?-LOL

Pretty Ginghers! I'll have to check the local JoAnn's! They look like they almost might be lilacs.

And, great job on your goals! I don't know if I could do that... LOL! You get so much done -- your needles must be smoking!
