A Beautiful Gift

I received this beautiful suprise gift from Kathy! She stitched Lynne Nicoletti's Fortune Teller for me - so sweet!!!! Thank you Kathy! I just need to learn how to fold it :-)
And... for Deb... another update of her round robin ;-) Just need to figure out how to fill in the sides of my area once the Pithie is stitched (Deb enclosed Pithies charts for us by The Workbasket, but they are about 70 stitches wide, and her blocks are about 145 stitches wide... a little dilemma for me! I do have some charts by The Workbasket and will see if I can "animal up" my block for her!).

I forgot to mention last night when I wrote my post - the Wee Autumn chart that I used for Michelle's box is available for adoption - I will send it to the first person who asks for it!

Rain is apparently on its way now - some parts of Hurricane Noel will hit the coast of New England when...??... tomorrow, I think?? Ah well, good time to stitch, I guess!

Stitched on today: Stitched on Autumn Exchange project, and Deb's Neighborhood Round Robin

That is a beautiful gift!! Fortune teller... What memories it brings back of my sister and I as little girls. We made loads of them! (in paper). Here's a picture I found online to help you visualise how to fold it :)

Stay away from the storm!

I remember fortune tellers from when I was little. They were good fun, but I wouldn't be able to fold one now. What a lovely gift.

What a COOL gift! I remember how popular these things were (made of paper, obviously) when I was a kid. :D Neat-o! ;)

Great little gift. The RR looks good and I am sure you will find just the right things to add to it. We just received the Workbasket trunk show so I have been going over all of their charts. Love them!

Lovely gift, the fortune teller is very cute.

I'll be interested to see how you finish out the block for the RR. Your blocks are always so wonderful.

I love Fortune Teller. This is the first time I see it completed. We used to play with these all the time as kids. I even think I can remember how to fold it.
The RR is looking great!

How sweet of Kathy to stich up one of the fortune tellers for you! She didn't tell me that... shame on her!
