More HOHRH

I spent a while today making ornaments for exchanges, and they really and truly are not my forte. I just don't have the creativity that I see others have with ornaments. Maybe practice will help. After that, I went back to work on Houses of Hawk Run Hollow. I find it difficult to really focus on this particular house block, so with my rotation being pared down for the next month or two, I decided just to put more time in on this one tonight.

Other than that, not a whole lot going on here :-)

Stitched on today: Finished Christmas Ornament Exchange (led by Simone), and USEBB Christmas Ornament Exchange, and stitched on Houses of Hawk Run Hollow

I think your ornaments are great. Lacking creativity ... that sounds more like me!

Although you're working on a very labor-intensive block (on HOHRH), I love your progress.

Loving HOHRH! Ornaments is something I want to start working on more.

I think you're making great progress on HoHRH,although I can imagine that particular square is a lot of work.

I love ornaments, provided they are made of straight sides - I can't do round ones!

Good luck with the ornaments. I've never tried finishing one as I just don't trust my finishing skills that far. HOHRH is looking good, this square is such a dense stitch, but it will look awesome when done.

I can see all the black background can be trying but the result is stunning.

Good luck as you pursue finishing your ornaments! I know you're looking for perfection and I know it will come as you complete more of them! :)

I'm much more the opposite - creative with ornaments, but I don't get the number of gorgeous HD's that you do...

I know what you mean with ornaments - I can never get mine finished to look like they do in the pictures!

The more I see your HOHRH, the more I want to stitch it. It's beautiful!
