Finished a page

I finished a page on Spring Ride tonight :-) I wasn't even going to work on it tonight. After working for a bit today on a gift, I just felt sick of stitching. BUt, after doing some laundry, filling out family Christmas cards, and even excercising a bit, I felt better able to focus on Spring Ride.

I came to a realization today that pretty much any remaining gifts that I have to do still (birthdays and Christmas) will not reach their destinations in time... no matter how fast I stitch, the postal service is what it is at this time of the year.. plus more snow and ice coming in, meaning my trips to the post office are harder to plan. I can't let it bother me, though. I will still get them all out... and some birthdays and Christmases will simply be extended :-)

Stitched on today: Stitched on a gift, and Spring Ride

Not too bad for someone who didn't even feel like stitching!

Don't worry about the late presents. It's always nice to have something come a little after the big holiday rush. Helps ease the after-Christmas blues.

Remember, Christmas doesn't end until 12 days after. So, you have plenty of time. Birthdays are at least a month after the actual date. Hehe.

SR is progressing nicely.

I can imagine you need a break from stitching every once in a while! You are a stitching machine. Both Serenity and Spring Ride are looking good. You are making great progress

Congrats! Spring Ride is looking great! I am having late presents too this year. As we have to have gifts out by Thanksgiving if we want them to get to the USA by xmas! I just couldn't accomplish that this year, I must be better organize next year, lol.

Oh, I'm sure no one will mind Carol. I have the same problem, by the way, although postal services here are quite good around Christmas.
Good work on Spring Ride! I wish I could find the inspiration to stitch when I'm sick of it (which is all the time now)

Spring Ride looks great! And don't worry about gifts arriving later - any day a gift arrives, it's a holiday! :D

Carol, you're just like me...I worry about things like making sure everything arrives right on time. We both need to give that up! :) You are the sweetest, most generous person for stitching for everyone all over the world. You need to pat yourself on the back :)
Spring ride is looking gorgeous...now I'm gonna tell you a little secret, when you started this last spring and talked about it and things, I always thought it would be a picture of girls on bicycles....:) are you laughing? I am!!! Because I always pictured them driving through those flowers....LOL!

Spring Ride is beautiful.

I know what you mean about not meeting the Christmas rush. I have a couple of things to go out, but I don't know if they will make it in time, either.

Carol SR is coming along beautifully!

Carol I think no matter if your gifts are out on time or late... they are appreciated and loved! Don't stress yourself out over it!

Spring Ride is really coming along - congrats on finishing a page. Such a pretty piece. I am sure the recipients will appreciate the gifts and exchanges regardless of when they arrive!
