Well... my plans to get a better photo of my HoE Mattress Pincushion Exchange from Jill this morning were totally foiled by a dark, dingy morning. I had to settle for using this photo that was taken on my kitchen counter in the dull grey of the morning before I left for work. What a pretty LHN pincushion she made for me. And a stunning counting pin... and what a generous extra - a stitching lamp! Jill said she felt badly reading about my Ott-Lite misadventures recently, so she sent me a back up! Now, how cool (and overly generous) is Jill? Thank you so much - I am utterly blown away!
Then today I heard from Laurie that she received my return exchange for her as part of the Crazy Exchange BB. I was in the mood to continue to stitch on Halloween themed items...
... and the rest of the goodies I sent to her. Glad you like the scissors, Laurie... enjoy!!
Stitched on today: Started second part of Pumpkin Patch Exchange

Your scissor fob is adorable ~ great stitching and finishing!
Gorgeous scissor fob, and I love the mattress pin cushion that you made for Andrea. You are right, you are far too critical of your own work ;).
That's a lovely exchange you sent out, and indeed a remarkably generous one you received with a back up light! ENJOY! :D
Great exchanges both received and sent!
Both exchanges are beautiful! I like your new comment set-up too, much easier to use :)
Great exchanges. I need to take a closer look at that light!
Wonderful exchanges, sent/received! Enjoy :)
I have this exact same clip-on magnifier. I’ve had an Ott Floor lamp for a number of years, but in recent time, I’ve needed some more magnification. This light/magnifier fit the bill perfectly – I have mine clipped onto the pole for the Ott Floor lamp. It’s great because it is so portable – I can take it with me if I go away for the weekend – I can’t do that with the floor lamp! That was very generous of Jill to send it to you!
Both exchanges are gorgeous
