Oh Carol! I'm so, so sorry to hear about your power, firewood, food....I wish we could get to you to help you. I'm praying power and hot water is returned soon. God bless you. Is there anywhere you can go that's warm?
My husband is from NH...I know his mom's nursing home was on generator power, but I think they are back online now. We've had ice storms here in Ohio in the past few years and it has taken a week or so to get all the power back. Hoping you are rescued soon! It is not fun :(
Sorry you're having to go through all that. When I lived in Louisiana, every now and then a storm would knock everything out. But at least we weren't cold.
My parents (in Amherst) are still on generator. My aunt in Merrimack got power back Sat. But the bad news is they are reporting some areas might not be back online until Thursday. I hope you are back to normal soon.
Carol, I know exactly what you are going through. Last year at this time OK. was in the throws of a terrible ice storm. I won't tell you how long it took to get some people's power back on. Sending good and warm thoughts your way.
Carol, I hope you have power back by now. I'm in southern Maine and about 200,000 families here lost their power for a day or two. Fortunately, we didn't, but just about everyone I work with did. Sorry about the wasted food and using up all of your wood, too! Hang in there.
